I'm not from Texas. I tried Shiner Bock on a trip to Dallas and fell in love with it. I buy it in Delaware.

Yeah Celebration Ale is great. Fall seasonal beer crushes the winter styles for me but there is still some great stuff out there.

I used to really like Sam Winter Lager but it is pretty meh to me now.

Had a couple of the Anchor Steam winter seasonal ale yesterday as thought it was very good.

Tuborg, Carlsberg, Sol, Becks (sometimes).
I won't say any national ones because they're not so well known.

this weekend i tried the best IPA i have tried yet. smoother and more flavorful than Stone's Arrogant Bastard imo. even my gf who doesn't love IPAs really liked this one.

Ya, Stone Ruination is def one of the best. Also, Green Flash Imperial IPA is very good as well, but it's hard to beat Stone. Kind of hard to believe your gf doesn't like IPA's, but liked the IPA with the highest IBU's.

Any Stone crushes every Odell, but that Myrcenary looks quite good. I will buy it tomorrow night. Also, if you guys like stouts, it's hard to beat a Green Flash Double Stout.

Shiner used to be really only in Texas, but since the Gambrinus company bought them, you can find it all over the place (e.g., upper midwest, east coast).

That Myrcenary was very, very tasty. Prefer Ruination and Green Flash Imperial IPA, but it rates at the very top and probably would take it over a 90 minute Dogfish. Will pick up the four pack tomorrow. Couldn't find that Hop Wallop.

Side note. Anyone actually like Gordon Biersch? Like only the the Maibock is decent of the ones I've tried. The Blonde Bock is nearly vomit inducing and I tried the Winter Bock a few days ago and it's just a black version of the Blonde, imo. Bleh.

Bar near my house finally got some of this on tap on Monday. Went last night and had a glass of it. Delicious! More of a sipping beer at 18% abv.

Not to mention the 450 calories in that 120. How much did the bar charge for that?

It wasn't a full glass, a 6 oz. smaller glass for $4.99

I've never been able to find it either. This is the first time I've heard of them having it and it was only 1 keg IIRC. Got lucky by seeing it on their weekly draft list they post on FB

i went to the stone brewery 10th or 11th anniversary years ago, and even there all dogfish had was a quarter keg of it that they brought out at a specific time. it created a frenzy and a ton of people lined up for it. i managed to get some, but it wasn't cold enough and extremely thick/syrupy. haven't had it since. i actually haven't even tried the 90 minute, which everyone says is really good.

Christ, that's cheap. Going rate out here (when you can find it) is $18-$20 a 12oz bottle.

Yeah, the 90 is really syrupy and not good. I don't go past the 60, although I heard a rumor they were going to start bottling the 75 for the first time, and I'll give that a shot.

Had an Augustiner Bräu Edelstoff today, my god that was good. So much better than the Jever I had just before it.

I've been seeing the 120 on draft around Philly. There are about a dozen bars who are selling bottles.
