I usually go out of my way to avoid beers with seasons on the label as they usually taste like flowers, but I was astonished by how good this wet hopped IPA is and at a ridiculous $8/6 pack price. I bought a case for the 1st time in years. A- on BA too. Great beer at a great price, can't recommend more.

I like the majority of winter seasonals more than I like the classic (e.g. sam winter), just because they tend to be more hoppy. sierra is obviously pretty good and hoppy by itself, but it doesn't surprise me that the winter is good. can't remember if I've ever had it.

I just picked up a half keg of Celebration Ale for my kegerator today. Enjoying it atm.

There isn't a beer I look forward to more each year. If you are in MN you should be able to find it. Very balanced & hoppy. It is a 6.8% beer so it will keep you warm all winter long.

Get a case, and you won't regret it!

Now let me get some tournament coaching!!!

It's Jubelale season in the Northwest. If you enjoy winter seasonals, I would definitely suggest tracking down some Jubelale from Deschutes Brewing.

Had a sour beer for the first time ever last weekend. I don't remember the brand.

How do people drink that ****? Tastes like vinegar.

LMAO chaos I had the same reaction when I tried my first sour and I still can't do anything but sip them. I don't know how people enjoy those but to each his own.

A BIG +1 on the celebration ale. It is marvelous.

Had a Guinness Foreign Extra Stout last night. Was amazing. Very hard to find, but a world of difference between the common Guinness varieties. Around $10 for a four-pack of bottles, 7.5% ABV.

To be clear, I am talking about

and not:

And especially not

Just had one of these yesterday. Very strong @ 11% abv. Lots of cherry taste.

^^ amazing beer, just had that a couple weeks ago. I love everything Odell's makes other than their "flagship" 90 schilling which is weird.

Session has been my go to recently. 5.1% Abv perfect carbonation and light bodied. Very easy to drink and tastes great.

FWIW also has rock-paper-scissors under cap

I'll give it a try. I just found Odell recently. 90 schilling is a super solid sessionable beer imo. Doesn't try to get super fancy.

I haven't been able to session with them, but I completely love flemish reds, wild ales, and guezes. the bitterness of them can be a bit much after a few, but they are great to start, end, or provide a good break in the middle of a session

That's the problem. You guys are ****ing drunks. A strong IPA with something like 75+ IBUs are not meant for "sessions". Would you drink 3 quarts of straight espresso?

what's the problem? I said I love sour styles of beer and where did I say all I was drinking in between was a strong IPA

I'm a Shiner Bock fan and bought Shiner Blonde for the first time based on recommendations here. Shiner Blonde has almost no flavor. Can't say it taste bad, it has no taste.
