in Atlanta now - heading for Barbados tomorrow. Still homeless, but lovin' life..

Not much new to report. Went to Barbados for week then been staying in casinos and bnbs for about 3 weeks. Still looking for a house - will probably wind up less than 30 miles from where I moved. Finished 2nd in a bj tourn and netted $14.4k so that worked out. Leaving the casino tomorrow and staying in a motel - this way I can look for a house w/o those distractions. Life is still good!!!

Update. Since I closed on my house 1/31/17, I've been to Atl, FtLauderdale, Barbados, Atlanta and various motels and casino (total of 13 diff places) until last week. Been trying to buy this house in S GA for a few months, and we got it done and closed yesterday. So I guess I'l be here a couple of years. Not as exciting as moving to Costa Rica, but I can do that when I sell this place. Great deal - just couldn't pass it up...

I highly recommend getting supplementary coverage which covers everything that medicare doesn't (read a lot). You can get it through aarp, costs about $200 per month and will cover shiat like prescriptions (ahem, blue pills and hookers) as well as hospital stays, long term care etc.

Update:
Since i last posted, I bought my house and w/17A, then in 4/18 bought the adjoining property which had a broken down cabin and 1/2 full 12A lake. Fixed up the cabin and lake which took a lot of time and money, and sold it last year- at this point I am debt free and own my own house. Then i sold off 6A of my 17A property. Now I am going to go into partnership with a friend and plant an orange grove. I don't guess I'll be moving anytime soon.
I'll be turning 78 next week and am going on a 10 day trip out west - at least 5-6 days in LV, and then waste a little time sight seeing, but spending most of my time in a casino somewhere. I'm going to try and post a TR in that thread,,,
