Two short series, by a favourite writer/journalist of mine, Jon Ronson, broadly based around exploring pron in the digital age, but going into lots of other dark, moving, and occasionally funny stories. Both very well done.
The Butterfly Effect - review
The Last Days of August - review

You might like Holly Randall Unfiltered. Randall is a porn producer/director/photographer. It's mostly interviews with porn stars and people on the porn/sex work periphery. Ronson was a guest on episode #91 to talk about August Ames (also a previous guest).

The Missing Cryptoqueen - Eleven part BBC series following a journalist investigating the fake OneCoin cryptocurrency, it's cult-like following, and it's founder, Ruja Ignatova, who disappeared in 2017 after scamming $4 billion. Very good even if you have no interest in crypto.

Sawbones: A Marital Tour Of Misguided Medicine

Just discovered this show, but its been going for many years. Each episode is about a certain disease, procedure, medication, etc, and the history of it.

Maintenance Phase

A great show for nutrition/health nerds who love to make fun of fad diets and quack health and wellness gurus. Co-hosted by Michael Hobbes, the former co-host of You're Wrong About, also a good podcast, but not as good since Hobbes left imo.

If Books Could Kill

Also co-hosted by Michael Hobbes. Each episode is a roast of a popular and terrible book. Best episodes so far have been Freakonomics and Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Very good indeed. Made me feel embarrassed that I thought I was smart after reading this as a college freshman.
