The only podcast I'm listening to lately is the Monday Morning Podcast by Bill Burr. Usually he rambles about sports, politics, relationships and gives advice. Funny as f.u.c.k, I listen to him almost daily.

I've been listening to The Dave Chang Show. He starts off with a series of podcasts with Bill Simmons over the process of opening a restaurant and is trying to do non-food stuff, like talking to Rian Johnson and Karina Longworth.

I can hardly stand listening to David Chang talk about food, there's no way I'd want to listen to him talk about non-food stuff. I've never even heard of those two people.

Rian Johnson is the director of The Last Jedi. Karina Longworth is a film critic who has a podcast about old Hollywood called You Must Remember This.

Do you dislike his manner of talking or is it the opinions he holds? Or both?

Latest Cumtown episode is hilarious. Started listening to this podcast about a month ago, and went in cold, not knowing who these guys are. It doesn't even matter, so funny if you're in to pretty offensive stuff. Latest episode centers around Neil Degrasse Tyson being a player in the Chris Benoit murder/suicide story.

i'm a chang fan, but i can understand people not being. with that said, i've never thought to myself 'man, i wonder what david chang thinks about this book/movie/tv show/political situation'. him having his own podcast makes me think 'WHERE IS JA????'

the diaries with simmons are for the most part very good. as you'd expect, some of it is pretty wanky, especially the obsession with david choe, who has pretty much seemed like the most annoying person on earth every time i've seen him on something.

Lately I've been listening to Yale history prof Donald Kagan's lectures on ancient Greece. I find all this Athens vs. Sparta bull**** quite fascinating, probably because I know none of it will be on the test. I'm at Hour 18 now of 24 I think.

That guy really fell off. His life has been in complete tatters after losing a 400 million lawsuit against his former podcast co-host.

Citations Needed has definitely been a great discovery.

It's a nice diversion from Pod Save America which is basically the same show every week. Still not necessarily bad but it does get old after a while.

For all you history buffs out there I've really been enjoying the Revolutions podcast.

Had to dig back through the archives, but the series on the English, American, and French revolutions are all really good.

anyone got good recs on soccer podcasts?

I like The Total Soccer show a lot . Love how they cover EPL, Bundesliga, Spain, Italy, MLS, whatever. Can't stand shows that only focus on EPL.

Awesome, I’ll check this one out.

The Totally Football Show with James Richardson is my favorite. It’s EPL centered but they always spend about half the show covering other leagues and just interesting football topics in general. I think they’ll be podcasting everyday during the WC.
