If I'm watching a show, I always check to see if these guys have a podcast about it -- really enjoy their insight.
I just recently discovered Rick & Morty and Community, so I've enjoyed listening to Dan Harmon's podcast, Harmontown. I'm through about the first 100, and my favorite guests are Kumail Nanjiani and Mitchell Hurwitz (Arrested Development).
Save it for the Show -- I'm not sure how I stumbled upon this podcast, but I find it hilarious. It's just a regular guy and his brother-in-law talking about things that happen to him. A fan animated one of his stories...
that dude who was only in the background who got shot in the head and had brain damage yet survived and can only say things like Yes sir! and Uh Huh! and other sentence fragments.... that dude was amazing
I'm enjoying Poker Stories. Its interviews with various players (Nick Schulman, Lucky Chewy, Negreanu, Broke Bobby, Mike Sexton, Brian Rast, Scott Seiver, Matt Stout, Jason Koon & Jessie Sylvia so far)
give Congratulations by Chris D'elia a try. You'll either love it or hate it or hate-love it. But it's made me laugh my ass off more than plenty of times

Yep. 2 episodes still to go and really enjoying it. Intrigued to see how it pans out.
Couple of serialised true crime pods I've discovered recently:
In The Dark - covers a small town child abduction case from 27 years ago that recently solved. Doesn't focus on the crime so much as the investigation.
Up and Vanished - about a small town murder of a woman from 2005 with no body ever found. This is very much a real-time investigation from a documentary film maker. Starts out well but slows as it goes on and is frustrating in parts. Not quite finished this one yet (still a few episodes to be released). I think it is being made into a TV series also.
Both are decent - kinda somewhere between Serial and S-Town.
Don't know if this has been mentioned, but I just started listening to my first podcast: How Did This Get Made? It's very very funny. They talk about crappy movies.
Anybody else use(d) downcast? Fairly sure it's the first app I ever downloaded - never really felt the need to change - I'm generally satisfied with it
Can anybody recommend any decent history pods other than hardcore history? Been through all of Dan's back catalogue now and need something to fill the gap until his next episode.
Particularly interested in anything covering the Cold War or Vietnam war.

Jocko Podcast is my new jam. I loathe the guy for murdering vocationally, but I love the guy for being an outstanding motivator, and understanding interpersonal relations better than I'd ever have given a meathead military dude credit for before I began listening.
Great one about random interesting things called...
Interesting Things Explained Well
Been enjoying this after seeing it mentioned in another thread. Also been enjoying Jocko Podcast- the dude is so intense but he does relax and have fun with it a bit.
Also been enjoying Ponzi Supernova - 6 part series on the Bernie Madoff scandal.
How to Start a Startup: a 20-class Stanford course led by Y Combinator and an incredible array of startup founders
Masters of Scale: Reid Hoffman (PayPal, LinkedIn) on startups. Very insightful and major guests (Mark Zuckerberg was a recent interview).
The GaryVee Audio Experience: Mostly about social advertising/communication, but the guy is a pretty intense personality (very love/hate), and if you like him, pretty entertaining.
Tim Ferriss: Mostly listen to the business and entertainment-related episodes.
