I eat the same breakfast every day:

1 cup egg beaters with 4 teaspoons of chipolte salsa
1/2 cup of oatmeal
4 small oranges (e.g. Cuties)
1 banana
1 chocolate Premier Protein.

All in about 750-800 calories.

I usually have leftovers for lunch around 1000-1200 calories.

No food after lunch. I am intermittent fasting. It is supposed to be 16:8, but for me it is more like 19:5. It works for me. I'm not hungry and I am down 17 lbs since the first of the year.

hah! i actually won an OOT lunch contest with a meatloaf sandwich back in the day. picture is broken, but i'll see if i can track it down.

Nice troll but we know that burgers, hot dogs, lobster rolls and shawarma are not sandwiches. Also, I left off tortas because those places always have tacos or tamales and it seems incredibly foolish to order a sandwich, so I’ve never had one.

Falafel, although very delicious, is also not a sandwich.

You won a lunch contest with that? Was everyone posting from prison Alobar style?

It wasn’t in the sandwich wiki so blame those *******s. I think of chicken parm as a knife and fork deal with no bread. The chicken is already breaded portly fellow.

Falafel is obviously not a sandwich because it’s just a ball/patty of fried chickpeas (or fava beans) but definitely a decent sandwich ingredient.

Your rationalizations for not having a top-tier sandwich like the chicken parm sandwich in the list simply show that you know nothing about sandwiches, as shown by your terrible ranking.

Meatballs are knife and fork until you put them between bread.

Fried chicken and various po-boy fillings are already breaded.

Falafel in this context implies those being stuffed with tzatziki and onions into a pita, not a sandwich. And the American is a French thing with a cheeseburger and fries stuffed into a baguette right? While that sounds delicious, it’s a snarky jab at American obesity and will not be considered.

A sandwich ranking consensus is impossible, clearly, but can we all agree that any sandwich regardless of filling will be made or broken on the bread? For me, a great baguette or proper rye could rocket many of these selections to the top or dump them out of the ranking entirely if not well represented.
