I know this thread has to end soon , but I wish it would last for weeks. I wonder who Wolly really is? Keep posting OP till the ax falls!

I hope the mods will cut Wolly some slack. He's just trying to learn if the glamorous, high-paying life of a dealer is for him, and this is the best thread in some time. Give Wolly a break!

Jesus, how can you people not see what's really going on here?

Wolly, PTSD is a tragic disease. Please get some help.

I also tried web developement/designing but after a few months I realized that I have the logic but I don't have the ,,design'' in me.Now I can see that programming languages are used by those who can imagine something rather than just solving equations in math.
Now I know that in life whatever you choose you gotta think before you act.Choosing something like my parents did was a mistake. From the first time I got there I realized that higher math like calculus is not for me.Calculus in greek means thinking, logic and I do not possess that.I mean algebra and trigonometry are easy but derivatives and integrals are not. What I'm trying to say is that I can understand limits but I have no idea why dx/dx=1 and de^x/dx=e^x.At least in optometry from what I heard you won't use calculus.

Wolly,

Ok, we know some things you don’t like/aren’t good at:

Calculus/Higher math
Loading/unloading/lifting
Soldering
Visualization
Stressful/high pressure situations
Cables/plugs/electrical things

What are things you like and are good at?

1. Get to Mexico
2. Jump the fence into the USA
3. Get a job on a farm (agriculture), restaurant, construction or hotel industry.
4. You will make ~$10/hr (which is 8.30 euros) average year is 2080 hours= 17, 264 euros per year.
5. Move toward a dealer job
6. Move fast cuz Trump is locking it down.
7. Have a bunch of babies who will then be US citizens and live the dream.

J,

He’s European. He can skip Mexico and just fly straight here and start working illegally.

Ok , then how about getting a job as an algebra teacher and take up playing poker as a hobby? That way you could see just how positive or negative a poker dealers career really is. You could also ask the dealers how long it takes or what it takes to move on up to Floors, Room managers, or Casino operators. They would have facts I am sure

Tone and content of this post broke character a bit.

Sorry I broke the thread everyone.

I forgot to mention that I also don't like electronics. All I learned in my engineer teacher's lab was to solve a few problems with formulas.I hated the theory and the practice was so boring. The most related subject was chemistry but I never understood chemistry whatever it was organic or inorganic. Now I hope you can understand why I picked the 3 jobs.Chemistry and physics chapters(except optics) were killing me with days in my highschool.

Have you ever had a job?

Wolly,

Have you considered the restaurant industry?

Do you like food?

Proper understanding and work in physics and optics requires good higher level math skills. This is especially true for physics. Physics requires calculas. Passing or even doing well in a biz major algebra based physics class does not imply you should study physics.

I would be happy to do so. I'll also send it to the Other Other Topics forum so that you can get a broader response now that you're not just looking to work in a casino.
Moving to OOT so the forum can share its collective knowledge with OP.

Why the **** did you move it here instead of just nuking it?

Why not?

Three possibilities:

(1) he gains some actual knowledge;
(2) he ends up being the next MLYLT;
(3) the thread fades into Bolivian.

None of those are bad in the short term. But if the mods of OOT disagree, they'll close it or move it back.

Cs3,

This might be the first good modding decision rapini has ever made!
