I feel like Nov/Dec in Phoenix are actually the worst months. Traditionally, coldest and sometimes rainy. By Dec the days are so short, too. I feel Feb/Mar/Apr might all be better, except for the golf prices, and the crowds. Oct is up there in the top 3, too.
June definitely the worst in Phoenix. Less humid then July or Aug, but hotter. And the monsoon really kicks it up in Aug, wouldn't want to do without that in my life.
