Look, I own a cat, I love him to death and I'm sure I'll be a complete wreck when he dies and would never knowingly eat a cat. Just the idea makes my eyes leak a bit of feeling.

But I don't think it's morally WRONG to eat a cat any more than a pig or a cow or a horse or a dog. It's the culture in which you were raised.
