Not unique but keeps me where i'm at, only downfall is 12 hour shifts, and 1 hour each way to and from work on a bus.

-$30/hr to browse 2p2, and facebook.
-Hot girls in the office that love to get wasted on weekends.
-Vending machine card, 5 free soda's a day from the card.
-Site camp cooks are always making pizza's and other stuff for the office.
-Co-workers are awsome, can't imagine there being a more enjoyable workplace.

Get taken to conferences once in a while, get to hang out and converse with "celebrities" of a sort i guess. If you are willing to eat pizza every day and listen to what may be some very crappy talks on fields you don't care about at all you will never have to pay for a meal. Occasional access to some of the most powerful computers on the east coast.

The biggest perk in grad school is the access you get to smart people. Often when I am stuck on something, I can walk a few doors down and ask the best person in the world on that topic what he or she thinks.

They let me read books and gamble on sports at work.

I don't ask for much more.

EDIT: Also subsidized cafeteria and unlimited free sodas, milk, juice, etc.

Being able to pick your boss is an under-rated perk. Though it is hard to call anything a perk when you are payed below minimum wage

We get a certificate every year indicating how many years we have been at the company. After 20 years you get a breakfast thrown in your honor.

I work 4-6 hours from home M-F. 90% of my work is done by noon and 10% of my work is done by taking a phone call here & there throughout the day.

-In my boxers
-Drinking Starbucks or Cheladas (red beer; budlight + clamato)
-Listening to music as loud as I want (until the phone rings, obv)
-Kindergarten naps 2 times a day for 45 minutes whenever I want

Optional: work from where ever I want, as long as my Blackberry and laptop aircard get reception.

HOLLA.

For my five years at a California State school, I was the student employee who filled up all the candy vending machines. It was a 2-man crew, me and my boss, who was a 40 year old, poker-loving, family man.

My first day on the job, he told me:
I want you to get paid for 30 hours a week, no matter what. If your job takes you 12 hours to do, be clocked in for 30. If it takes you 28, I want you clocked in for 30.
(My job, done well, usually took about 12 hours a week).

He also told me that I could eat as much of the candy/chips/soda/water as I wanted, whenever I wanted. That was fun for a few weeks, but a cool perk nonetheless. I kept my apartment fully stocked with everything though and my roommates loved me.

Very small little perks, but cool for a part-time, super easy, state-paid, no taxes, college job.

I have a new job since October. One really nice perk is that I pay $15 a month and get access to a bunch of attorneys in New York with no fees. So after my wife and I got married, we had to do a bunch of immigration stuff. It was all free (well $15). It would have cost thousands of dollars.

i don't have to spend any money on business clothes because i wear a uniform all day, so all of my clothes can be cute clothes.
i also need to stay in fairly good shape and actually get penalized for being too overweight/out of shape.
i do not have to style my hair every day and thus it is very healthy and shiny.
