2 things...first, my post above doesn't matter, coulda just kept reading and others asked the same.

second, zero chance you feel bad about including her # bc she doesn't deserve to have it posted here.

you realized any of us can call her, quickly explain the situation, and have her call your boss/company.

don't worry, I've already took a screenshot in case you DO get it taken down, and will probably at least text her to tell her how you're portraying her online...

Lol. If Wu wasn't such a dumbass, he'd realize he doesn't need a mod to take it down.

Imageshack won't let me from my phone. I will as soon as I get to a computer.

I don't see how I'm portraying her all that negatively. She's just an 18 or 19 year old girl whose parents didn't teach her customary tipping practices . I oughtn't to have posted her contact info, which I did accidentally (thought I had cut that part of the image out). Sending the text was dumb

Really? You said you would literally take a **** in her next order. Perhaps she has you pegged correctly and reflected it in her tip?

Losing a menial labor job is not that big a deal. Fortunately, I'm not going to be doing this bull**** much longer no matter what, but I have to eat somehow in the meantime. I don't have the stomach for it.

It has more to do with the fact that a hundred poker players texting her to tell her what was being said about her online would probably be crazy annoying to her, when I'm sure she would have been content moving on. Why don't you designate one person to let her know so she doesn't get spammed? I'm sure she's already been texted by now

bc it seems like to me, whether she ordered $80 worth of stuff or $15 or $50, it shouldn't matter to you because an extra bags is going to cost you a penny or two from the extra weight driving there at MOST.

I realize there are counters to that argument, but $80 or $10 worth of good shouldn't make much difference in tip size all things being equal and in a perfect world.

I suppose I'm curious as to either why you were pissy about $2 or if you agree order size shouldn't mean much in regards to tip siE..
If literally all youre doing is carrying an extra bag of food then yeah getting mad that you didnt get a certain % is dumb. But a lot of the time drivers are tipping the kitchen based on % of sales, and non fired items like salads and drinks are being made by the driver. For me at least delivery tips are more about set base and adding for extra work than a %.

As far as Wu I dont think an old lady cares about how her phone # is being portrayed online. She's already been harassed by her deliver driver, leave her alone and let the ****ty way he does his job take its course.

It has nothing to do with that, and we all know that. At best (or worst, for you), she gets one or two texts (likely none). Moving on...? Lol. How about you just do your job and deliver the food and piss off when you don't get the tip your entitled ass deserves?

Well, my approach from now on is just going to be loaf around as long as possible for shirty tippers and do all other orders first, regardless of when they come in relative to the bad tippers'

What reason do I have do give a **** about the company's bottom line when doing so doesn't maximize my profits?

Wu,

How about just growing up and doing a good job?

You said you won't be doing this much longer regardless. What's next?

Now youre getting it. Dont like give them ice cold food but for sure give other customers priority and let cooks know to give it lower priority than they would. Esp if theyre getting tipped out.

In that case if youre gonna inappropriately contact her, youre doing it wrong.

Wu,

IIRC, you make a flat $5 per delivery of a $7 delivery charge right? Gotta say, if I ordered a $35 order and I knew you were getting $5 already, I wouldn't tip too much more (obv I will in bad weather, but still)

I think you got the wrong idea of how much you should be making based on how hot you were running tip wise at the beginning of your job.

I was a colossal douche. And I also admit I'm more prone to outbursts like that than the normal person. But I was driving through a damn ice blizzard, my mother was calling me to tell me my father was missing, presumably drinking and looking for hookers, and delivering to the dorms is a huge pain in the ass. I should have just taken my sweet ass time like I planned, but I thought surely to god she was gonna tip me cash as well.

but why would you think that if she put $2 tip on the order and you were delivering to a dorm?

Having to tip a certain % is lame imo. So when I order a cheap dish in a restaurant the waiter gets less tip for the same servers as if I would have ordered a more expensive dish...doesn't make sense. I would rather see a system where we decide the tip amount based on the service.

if i was paying a $7 delivery fee on a $35 order and knew that the driver was getting $5 of it, I wouldn't tip a damn cent more.
