Biden and Trump

Not sure how anyone likes either one of these guys

Great example of things that everyone else seems to like. I’m just honored to be in the presence of such a thought process.

Any food that I can't eat without making a mess of my.hands and face. I love burgers, but for some reason people want to cram so much in a burger that the damn thing is falling apart and exploding all over my face. And when I see burger advertisements, they always show these huge stacked up burgers that just look like an annoying nuisance mess to me.

I agree about the burgers too tall to take a comfortable bite out of.

And I'll add something more specific: Bacon on burgers.
I love bacon and I'm a fan of burgers generally, but never the twain shall meet.

I'm not sure man. You might as well ask why I'm not into lasagna. Which in my family is at least as controversial

Also, bagels

DDL seems to exclusively do period stuff, so I can understand why his movie selection wouldn't meet universal approval, but his performances are always just unimpeachable.

Gangs of New York was kind of a mess, but I was still leaving the theater going, "Well, Daniel Day-Lewis sure was great at least, right?"

I just keep thinking of this post and thinking about how, in this guy's world, the next election is going to be determined primarily by a country full of voters going, "Man, I just like both of these guys so much, it's so hard to decide!"

Wow, you could not have misinterpreted my post any worse. I don’t think anyone likes them both. What I meant was:
A lot of people like Biden and I don’t.
A lot of people like Trump and I don’t.

No one likes them both, but I don’t see how anyone can like either one of them.

"Everyone else," while obviously not meant literally, is nonetheless obviously meant as a stand-in for "an overwhelming majority." Your examples do not apply. There is really nobody in all of politics to whom it applies.

The obvious spirit of the thread is to name-check those things where it feels like you are a real outlier of society on some specific item or topic. Your stance is very obviously an utterly ordinary one, and therefore your post sucks.

(I knew what you meant, of course. I admit that my post was feigning ignorance for the noble purpose of making fun of your post.)

It takes a lot of courage to make that kind of sacrifice for the greater good. We salute you.

I don’t like bacon on burgers AT ALL (!) with the exception of a Wendy’s JBC which is a perfect little burger.

yes... quite often.

From an engineering standpoint, it seems like a trauma that no one should ever have to endure.

There MUST BE a solution for those suffering from such displacement challenges.

Not opposed to bacon on burgers but don't think I've ever ordered one. I think it's more of a texture thing. I've ground bacon into my hamburger meat numerous times to great success.

But here's one for the thread - grunge music. I was in college when Nevermind hit the shelves and was not impressed. Nor with Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, STP, Alice in Chains, etc. I enjoyed songs here and there but didn't actively listen or follow.

Over the years have enjoyed the music more but still don't think the overall genre was all that great.
