I liken it to the smell and taste of vanilla extract. Sure, you can add a ton of cream and sugar to it to make it taste good I guess. The base flavor sucks.

I can deal with coffee but I don't miss the chocolate and peanut butter as I get enough of each separately.

Also why I hated ET when it came out. If he was into M&Ms like everyone wanted it'd be a different story.

ET likes Reese’s Pieces. There’s no chocolate in them. Just peanut butter and a shell. I hope you haven’t been avoiding Reese’s Pieces thinking it was peanut butter and chocolate. If so, time for you to go buy a bag and indulge in one the best candy ever made!

I used to think I hated chocolate and peanut butter together. Then I realized that combo is in Butterfingers which is probably my favorite candy, especially when it's refrigerated. The exception that proves the rule???

Do people in this thread who don't like popcorn also dislike the way it smells or does it smell good to you?

Slow rolling. HCL live and the max pain Monday thing. I'm old, been playing poker over 30 years, slow to anger and pretty tolerant of poker room crap, but when I get slow rolled by some dimwit, I have to repress the strong urge to punch them in the throat.

Sorry wazz,

Your smell/taste thing does not hold up when gasoline is the product. Smells awesome but doesn't taste very good.

Chocolate an peanut butter together. Separate, awesome, together, ugh.

Also, most fantasy-type genre of movie - LotR, The Hobbit, zombies, vampires, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, etc.

Stinky cheeses

Coffee. I don't know how anything can smell so good and taste so bad.

Edit:

Spoiler:

2112 post

This reminds me I also hate coffee.

I do think it tastes and smells the same. Disgusting.

I've never seen Star Wars from start to finish and probably never will. It just doesn't appeal to me.

It was supposed to be M&Ms but the company wouldn't pay for the publicity. Like the producers couldn't just be happy it was one of the most profitable movies ever made, they had to get every last penny at the expense of changing the story.
I read the book when I was s kid, it was M&Ms in the book.

As an 11 year old I associated Reese's Pieces with the peanut butter cups which is the specific product that ruined peanut butter and chocolate together for me. It's possible that I don't like the combo because it's likely the peanut butter and chocolate in those is terrible. Maybe a legit peanut butter and chocolate would work?

I was a fanboy as a kid and even saw Star Wars in the theatre. I was visiting my dad in Denver and he dumped me in a mostly empty theatre for two hours. Didn't know at the time he was going on dates and used movies/etc. as a babysitter. Anyway, loved it and saw Empire and Jedi in the theatres the day they came out. Then nothing... Couldn't buy on VHS and only occasionally could you watch them.

Around comes the late 90s and George re-releases them prior to Episode I. Holy **** Star Wars was terrible and Luke is a whiny little bitch. Jesus. Was going to eventually see the new one but not one person said it was any good so **** that. Haven't seen anything since.

I treat Star Wars like the band KISS - very important in my pre-pubescent development but when I grew up realized that it's not my thing.

I concur, well played folks.

How about a thread idea: "Things you do like but everyone else seems not to".

Surprised at how many anti-coffee people are here. Grilled onions are good but raw are tough to eat unless on a hot dog. Inception the movie or having dreams within dreams within dreams?
