what does that have to do with uberx in LA? if it sucks and is thus different than uberx in apparently every other city in the US then those details seem useful

That was one of the better non-singing national anthems I've heard, but it is still comfortably in the bottom 10% of all national anthems I've heard.

Uberx in LA should piss you off. If you've taken less than 10 rides you're probably OK and haven't come across a bad ride.

However in the 100 or so rides I've taken in the last 3 years at least 20-25 of them have been bad for a variety of reasons including:

-driver made me car sick despite repeated request to drive less erratic and hard on the break/gas. I threw up outside the car at my destination.

-I was riding home from work and a driver stopped the ride a mile from my house so he could hit an empty drive thru with me in the back without charging me. Take me home then double back, dude it's 9pm the place isn't closing.

-driver near ran a red light
And hit an old woman, blamed me for distracting him trying to tell him where to go because he couldn't follow the gps.

-driver puts wrong address in gps taking me to work. Won't take me to my actual destination 2 miles down Santa Monica Becuase he has plans he needed to go
get to and was late. Thanks for making me late, too.

-Driver refused to stop texting arguing/calling and fighting with gf/SO and I had to hop out at a red light and call another driver because he had already nearly rear ended two people in 2-3 miles heading from Hollywood to downtown

That's just like 5 incidents off the top of my head with dumb/terrible uber drivers in L.A.

Never had a problem with lyft, tho.

Lol getting car sick from erratic driving.

Backseat drivers are the worst.

Okay so I was already sick that weekend so not 100% his fault probably 50/50 because I told him I was sick and had already had stomach issues earlier in the day - not really fair to put that all on his driving but I suppose if I wouldn't of held my crap together and just puked in the back of his car he would of freaked out and been like WTF and I would of been like I told you I was sick dude.

So probably more like 75% his fault because I warned him bad **** was going to happen
