I'm going to break into your house and make all the electrical switches go Left-Right. But they'll be 50% Left = Off and 50% Left = On.

Duke and others,

Current version of tapatalk on iPhone way better than any prior version or 2p2 app ever was.

El Diablo.

That is of your opinion. It was easy to go to your subscribed threads , or threads you responded threads , Tapatalk makes it cumbersome to find new topics.

I switched my sock drawer and underwear drawer like 2 years ago, and still if I'm going for just one or the other I'll pick the wrong one half the time. But I like to live dangerously like that, so I'm not going back.

People who get up a stop before their intended destination and wait by the door on the subway. There is plenty of time to sit in your seat, calmly walk over to the door and exit it before the doors close. Absolutely no need to stand up and wait by the door. wtf.

When I'm traveling abroad and I meet people who, when asked where they're from say their city or state, rather than just saying they're from the States. Even if its LA or NY or whatever, and everyone knows it anyway, still pisses me off. Also people who say they're from America (rather than the US or the States). Makes me think they're Trump supporters.

Lol where do you live? If you casually take your time then you will be interrupting the people who are trying to get onto the train.

Chicago, but I should have clarified that I meant during non-rush hour times, when there is plenty of time to get to get off without interrupting anything. Today two people did this at separate stops around 8:00pm and it annoyed the **** out of me.

If I'm talking to people who recognize an American accent I'll of course say where I'm from in the us. Otherwise it's redundant.

Well yea, that's fine. I'm talking about when you're in a diverse group of people and someone asks 'where are you from' and they'll say California or Texas or something. Almost all Euro's know that these are states in the US of A, but it just comes across as very America-centric. No one else traveling answers their home city/state/province they just say I'm from x country.

It's pretty easy to tell if someone is American, so when I or other Euros ask one where he / she is from 'the US' is actually a pretty dumb answer. We know that already, we want to know where in the US.

Uhh there are lots of Canadians, especially the west coast ones, that you would not be able tell if they were from Canada or somewhere in the west coast of the states. And they don't usually like being mistaken for Americans!

Sounds like you should just ask "where in the states are you from?' but then you also run the risk of them being Canadian. And I've met a lot of Canadians that I was almost positive were American by the way they talk.

But yes, for most cases you are right, hence why I posted in this thread.

Yeah ok, I meant Americans and Canadians. I want to know where in their respective countries they are from, that is far from interesting to me than 'America' or 'Canada'.

I mean how well do Europeans generally know Canadian cities/provinces. I mean if someone said they from a biggish Canadian city that isn't Vancouver/Toronto/Montreal, would you know where they were referring to? Or maybe not you (as people who post on 2p2 usually have a much greater knowledge of N. American than the average population) but your friends? I know most Americans certainly wouldn't.

Sorry for the derail.

Another thing that pisses me off for no good reason is people running/exercising on Friday and Saturday nights.

Also higher end/fashionable gym wear

Hey, floral shirts and pink pants are pretty out there for typical American fashion! The fatness of course is normal. Give that guy a decent pair of shoes without the white socks and a normal physique and he's rocking it pretty well!

I expect a ****ty polo, cargo shorts and flip flops or some ugly looking sneakers, plus maybe some oakleys.
