Things that shouldn't piss you off, but do. Things that shouldn't piss you off, but do.

Vin Diesel

Also when at work and someone borrows my pen to sign paperwork (usually truck drivers) and they don't look at the pen to see if they need to click it to make it write before they try to sign. They just assume I carry a pen that is pre-clicked.

That the period in the above sentence goes inside the quotation marks. Just seems wrong.

That the sentence "Just seems wrong" is considered grammatically incorrect.
Of course it's grammatically incorrect. There's no subject. Doesn't mean you can't write it that way, though.

When you're describing or explaining something to someone and they try to jump the gun and insert words or answers to your info. **** off man, I AM the explainer.

Hmm. Would you rather have to take a cap off? That's much worse. Other option is a twist pen, which is better but there aren't many of these in circulation, at least, not on the regular cheap pen side of the market. Or you can just leave the cap off and risk ruining clothing so that you can carry a pen.

Clearly, the best option is a click pen.

I will say, however, that it pisses me off when someone asks for an "ink pen." Like, uhh, what other kinds of pens are there?

@Minimalist, I chuckled.

@ChaseXNutleyIII, "ink pen" should piss you off. No one would hand anyone else an actor, a prison, or a Nittany Lion to sign something.

An ink pen is different than a ball point pen

They could have your car towed.

Just thinking about someone getting towed for that gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside.

Sadly, realistically, it's never going to happen.

I did hear a story, from a lady who got someone fined/in legal trouble for parking in one of those spots (in PA). The story involved the guy being a total douche in multiple ways and I was never clear if it was the parking itself that got him in trouble.

Used to wait tables. Only used pens with the caps taken off so customers wouldn't steal them.

BigPoppa,

Did that deter anyone from stealing your pen? I feel like 95% of people who steal a pen from a waiter do it by accident and not having a cap on it would make no difference.

I am pretty sure if an employee verbalize you can't park there they can tow though. But it doesn't really matter where, as long as they let you know they can tow your car.

Edit: Actually I am pretty sure they can tow whenever they feel like it. Why couldn't they? They own the land.

Also while on the topic, in most olaces, as long as there isn't a posted fine amount for handicapping parking in front of the spot you park any fine from officers is not enforceable.

Maybe he has a long game setup on that. So that people that accidentally steal the pen end up with ink spots in their jeans and it serves as a future deterrent.

Yeah this is pretty common. I just steal my co-workers pens and use those. Also my restaurant had a bunch of pens made with their name on it so I've hoarded about 50 of those in my locker.

Just to clarify, it isn't handicapped parking I am annoyed about. Just the expectant mothers parking. I know I could probably get away with parking there, it isn't like they are going to force me to produce proof if I do, but I wouldn't chance it.

I just don't see why there has to be a spot reserved for expectant mothers, wouldn't walking be good for their health? If they had a real medical issue due to pregnancy I am sure they could get a temporary handicapped sticker and park in handicapped.

I was at the mall in the downpour the other day, all of the handicapped spots were taken. The expectant mother parking spot was empty. I think it is ridiculous that a truly handicapped person should have to park far away especially in bad weather while the available spot up close is reserved for a pregnant woman.

Since the signs designating these spots are pretty much standard, I don't see how this is even an issue.
