I really enjoyed Oktoberfest. Lots of friendly boisterous drunken singing together. Even met a pretty German for a 3 night stand.

I haven't seen a single obnoxious person there, not to forget that it attracts so much tourists that you find all kinds of people. It depends on what weekend you go on who you'll find there as well tbh. The atmosphere is just so laid back and awesome. The dirndels and lederhosen definitely contribute to that even though I wasn't wearing anything special. The beer is good and just like any party, it probably really depends on who you're there with even though it has great occasions to meet cool people from all around the world. I talked to young hot Australian girls and 70 year old german men who talked about their heritage and whatever you could come up with. Did I mention the girls yet ?

Well said Yak, I totally agree with all of this. I'd also add that you get a beer about 1 minute after ordering it no matter how packed your tent is. Apparently, the beer girls make a commission for every beer sold so they are super efficient

Haven't seen Tenacious D but I assume it's just a bad version of Spinal Tap. A decent portion of my Jack Black hatred comes from the fact that I had the demo of Brutal Legend installed on my PS3 for many years. On the PS3 when you put the cursor on a game while scrolling through your games list, it usually plays music or sound from that game as an attract mode thing. There's a minor bug I guess where those demo sounds are significantly louder than the normal system volume.

Jack Black did the main voice in Brutal Legend, and every time I paused the cursor on that ****ing demo for more than half a second I'd get blasted by Jack Black's stupid ****ing voice spewing out poorly acted quotes as whatever idiot character that overrated hack game designer Tim Schafer wrote. Crap like "Alright! Let's mosh it up!" You'd hate him too.

Also pisses me off that Tim Schafer the game designer thought a game with a 1980's Heavy Metal theme starring Tim Schafer was going to sell any copies (it didn't).

Yeah we got into the whole calories in/calories out thing in OOT before. Then I found a study showing BMR is highly variable. Not everyone burns the same calories at rest.
