If my photobucket was working, I'd just post a pic of the guy in front of me on the train clipping his nails.

Instead, I'll just say ******s who clip their nails in public.

Followed closely by unaware ****s who file their nails in public.

I get pissed off at how much technology has improved watching sports yet for some reason it's impossible to make a reliable microphone for the referees so I can hear what the **** is going on.

It must be annoying for the employees as well. Fast food chains should spend a little more money on the intercom.
and what's the deal with airline food

-People who ramble on about things that you just don't care about and have no reason to.

-Some guy who was in my class that changes his facebook status to some quote of intelligent people to make himself look smart, and talks about how he has a positive outlook on life and that he knows the secrets to making making when he's ****ing broke as ****. Gonna list his last few status updates.

--thinks that education is important.. but what's more important is a financial education. They don't teach you THAT in school and that is what more people need to know!

--is looking for someone to join my team in business. Looking for openminded, friendly, motivated people. any takers??

--"The best way to save money is to really KNOW money". a Financial I.Q is more important than anything you learn in college or university. There are NO instructions on how to use your paycheques people!! Your teachers nor your J.O.B.S wont teach you that.

- Skinny ****s who walk like they have monsterous arms.

- People who try to be really convincing and think they are an expert about something they know nothing about and do not uderstand.

My thoughts, in regards to the your/you're, all these forums here use phrases like iirc, ainec, fwiw, etc...Why is it ok to save time by typing those, but not ok to shorten contractions? I myself usually will take the time to type you're, but I never nit on people for it.

My current annoyance is people that always relate the conversations to themselves. I have a coworker, it does not matter what the subject is, will work his way into the subject matter somehow. I could talk about hunting polar bears with crossbows, and he would come in to talk about his stuffed polar bear he had as a child. Just stfu please.

I also wonder how many times this thread has been done in one shape or another. It has to be in the top 5 most recycled thread concepts in interweb history.

Oh yeah, girls talking sports is the worst.

This sounds so stupid but "The guy trying to sell Flyers tickets at my bowling alley" I bowl in a league on monday nights and some guy in another league in the house has convinced the one guy who works at the bowling alley to announce every single monday night over the loud speakers....

"If anyone is interested in flyers tickets joe is selling them on lane X. He has tickets for all games. If you are interested go see joe on lane whatever. He has for the rangers game, the penguins game and whatever other games are this week.... blah blah blah for another minute"

The thing that annoys me is this announcement is made very week, if it was occasional then no big deal. The other funny thing is, very early on when i he started doing this i went down to see how much he wanted for them and he wanted the same or more than face value. For anyone who isn't aware, Flyers games are do not sell out.

Don't buy season tickets if you don't want to go to the games. I really want to bring in some crap from my attic one day and ask if they will announce for me that i am selling **** from my attic if anyone is interested.

This has been going on for the past few years.

Just thought of another one after seeing it on Facebook. I really, really hate anyone that calls their pictures "flicks." When and how did this bull**** start? A flick is a ****ing movie you ******s.

In-game interviews at sporting events (i.e. where they interview the coach at halftime) are pretty damn annoying.

I think this is because I could, in theory, say something to friends and family about how ****ing annoying they are, but with strangers I am completely powerless.

A good example of this is at the movies. Barring excessive bull**** like popping open multiple cans of Coke, I am okay with sitting in a packed theater next to strangers who are eating stuff. But I won't ever go to the movies with friends who buy popcorn or candy.
This makes some sense to me.

I, for one, cannot stand it when a roommate, family member, girlfriend, eats cereal. It drives me absolutely bananas. I am not sure how this applies to strangers... I mean when do you ever get to hear a stranger eat cereal?

Yeah, a lot of the things that people do are pretty weird and seem quite stupid/ pointless to me as well, but letting these things have an impact on your mood is crazy. Just let it go and worry about what you do with your own life.

Most people probably won't get this one, but something that annoys me is people (usually girls) who ask "who's winning?" during a cricket game.

if you want to come across as an idiot, that's fine. it's okay with me when people i'm talking to on aim use "u" or "prolly" or whatever else because (a) they are my friends and i know they're not stupid, and (b) aim is a medium suited for typing as quickly as possible.

a message board is not a place where you need to type as quickly as possible, and ensuring that your message is properly understood is more important.

plus, as most people don't know each other on the internet, if i see someone using the wrong your/you're, etc, i'm going to assume they're not as smart as someone else and their opinion might not carry as much weight.

because ainec means "and it's not even close" and you save quite a few characters by going with the abbreviation. "your" does not mean "you're", so you can't shorten "you're" by writing "your" (which may make the sentence say something else entirely, or at least muddles its meaning). saving one character is not worth making your message more difficult to understand.
