When there is a tip jar next to the "give a penny take a penny" jar.

Also, people that put other coins in the "give a penny, take a penny jar". Like that dime in the picture above. It's almost always a douchebag that leaves it there or at least that's what I tell myself.

People who blame autocorrect for their mistakes.

It doesn't piss me off, but it's annoying when there's no charity jar at grocery store registers. I just leave my pennies next to the credit card swiper.

in canada the penny has been eliminated, so everything is rounded up or down.

like a $12.02 order is $12

or $18.98 is $19

no more dirty pennies!

The nut low.

There are definitely more that don't versus those that do. I remember Sherlock's was my first experience with a bar that gave it back and it confused the hell out of me.

I literally throw them in the trash with my receipt sometimes, and else wise I'll roll them around a parking lot for those who enjoy finding them.

Custer, I usually have tons of cash on me. Why shouldn't I pay with it?

The bar I go to keeps the card for everyone else but I don't have to give it. Gotta have it to sign into Golden Tee.

Mall floors make great penny rolling rinks.

I almost always pay with a debit card, but just now I had a thought. I just got done at Jiffy Lube, total cost was $80.98, and I hand him large bill (and a single, obv). I basically made a $81 deposit into my checking account. And that's nice.

Because you can get 2-6% cash back on a cc depending on the purchase. Cash and debit are wasting money.

Don't know about these 6% cash back cards. Best I can get is 2% on gas/groceries and 1% on everything else. The extra $50 or so I might get from charging everything isn't worth having to go to an ATM every couple of weeks to deposit my cash.

I mean, that's a rabbit hole I'm not going down right now. But all forms of money are basis the banking system. So paying cash isn't some sneaky way to avoid being part of the system, if that's what you are saying.
