Worst is videos where there's someone in serious peril and some d-bag is just standing there with his camera recording it. I'm not saying you should run out there and risk your life or try to break up a knife fight or something -- obv help if you can -- but it's ridiculous to record **** like that.

Decent example: these guys do help, but only after they're standing there like dumb ****s for a couple minutes and some one runs up to them asking for help. Now, I ain't sayin' run into the heart of this situation -- maybe pick your spot -- but standing there recording it is beyond idiotic.

$.25 passenger surcharge in taxis. Why not just put that in the sit fee instead of making it obvious youre nickle and diming me?

And I would hold the phone the right way to get better video. That really pisses me off.

That video went viral and I'm would bet has done much more good convincing people to slow the **** down in terrible conditions - vs what the guy recording it ever could have done - running over there and putting himself in harms way.

When the gas pump trigger clicks closed regardless of whatever finesse you use so your choice is filling up 0.12 gallons at a time or the angst of having to move to a new pump.

+1, at least the people in the cars have some protection. If you rush over and another vehicle comes flying along you're dead.

Even one experience like this means I'm never going to that gas station again. Unless you live out in the wilderness, there are too many others to choose from to put up with that crap.

I just watched the video and pretty much this. There's still cars approaching and crashing into each other at high speeds and you want these guys to jump right in the middle of that?

Restaurants that ask how spicy you want the dishes. Just cook it how it's supposed to come! Last you thing you want is all dishes with the exact same level of heat. Wtf. If I want a change I'll ask.

This is really something that irrationally annoys me, but people who dislike spicy food or that don't see the point of food being spicy. I'm not even particularly into spicy food or anything.

Oh, hell no, I'm not going to run out there and try to Superman that ****. Like I said, I'd pick a spot to help somebody if I could. My point is more that people seem to think first, "Wow, that's crazy! Lemme get that on video!" rather than, "This is dangerous / amazing / important, can I actually involve myself in it or experience it for myself."

I'm sure the guy was thinking to record it as a public service.

I've worked on a lawsuit that arose from a grizzly accident scene like that; trust me you don't want to be anywhere near that area.

Radio advertisements. BBC radio one (or any other crap radio station who have a playlist of 10 songs)

Really bad advertisements on tv/newspaper etc..., I don't think I have ever bought something I have seen on an ad before.

I actually posted something similar to this in the SB thread. Every time they showed a replay you could see countless people in the stand watching it through their phones.

Yeah, It's not realistic to expect anybody to put themselves anywhere near it, but pulling out a phone is LOL. This guy is 100% thinking "Hey, this would be cool on YouTube" and not "I'm gonna take a video so people are aware of how dangerous these conditions can be"

This morning I'm parallel parking on the left side of a 2lane street. Car behind me just sits there for a minute before backing up and waiting for me with zero traffic whatsoever to the right of them. WTF is wrong with you - just go around, or do you enjoy being a victim?

Advertising is all about name recognition and we are all slaves to it at one time or another and I guarantee there are numerous times a month that you chose to buy one product over another because one you've heard of through advertising and one you haven't.

When i go to a fast food restaurant and they give me a sales pitch.

I know they do it for promotional reasons and saying to every customer "Welcome to McDonald's, would you like to try our new jackass burger?" probably increases sales but I find it insulting, like i'm an idiot who can't read their menu and has no idea what I want to eat. I go out of my way to not order whatever they're trying to sell me, I could never bring myself to answer "yes" to their "would you like to try..." question. If I walk in planning to buy a certain item and that's what they pitch to me I change my order 100% of the time.
