Really bad advertisements on tv/newspaper etc..., I don't think I have ever bought something I have seen on an ad before.
Being in England some of these may not apply to you, but I think you'll get my point...
So you never drank a Coke or a Pepsi? Never bought Hanes or Fruit Of The Loom underwear? How about Nike or Reebok? Ever eaten at McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's or Taco Bell? Do you own a car? Ever bought anything at Walmart, KMART, Sears, Target or JC Penny? Have you ever eaten a Kellogg's cereal? What about Duracell batteries? Do you have a Playstation or X-Box?
Shall I go on?
Advertising is all about name recognition and we are all slaves to it at one time or another and I guarantee there are numerous times a month that you chose to buy one product over another because one you've heard of through advertising and one you haven't.
