People that say they are from xxxxxxx city when they really mean they are from outside the city.

A: where you from?
B: oh NYC
A: what borough?
B: actually I live in xxxx 20 mins outside the city

A lot of people use the excuse f nobody knowing where it is which is why you just start by saying xxxxx suburb 20 minutes outside of xxxxx city.

You can even add a cardinal direction in there if you want.

Had someone in college tell me this then I figure out they literally live like 20 miles away from the city which is absurd

i do this, and it shouldnt piss you off you geography nit

When you're playing a home/local game and the person dealing doesn't distribute cards until the blinds are placed on table. ****ing deal the cards *******, it's not like someone's gonna get a free blind.

This definitely should piss you off. Fake unnecessary noise on vehicles might be the most ******ed thing on Earth. Why do the rest of us have to listen to that loud crap just because some insecure guy needs his vehicle to be louder so he can feel slightly less crappy about himself?

I'd be wary about posting these ideas on a highly trafficked public forum. This one could be worth billions.

But yes, it certainly speaks to the close-mindedness of car manufacturers in general that there's not yet an option to augment engine sounds with fart noises. Or cockadoodledoos, which would be my start-up sound of choice.

You can check in as early as like noon in a lot of places. Seems like 3p/4p is the time they guarantee the rooms will be ready. Last few times I've stayed in a hotel, I've checked in early.

Wow really? rarely have i checked into a hotel after 2pm in the past ~100 nights spent out. 10am seems super early too, I dont think ive ever had them knock before 11:30am.

So either the hotel isn't full, so it doesn't matter at all, or you're screwing over a traveler who would have loved to have the room, in order to stop the casino from making what is orders of magnitude below rounding error worth of "extra" money. Oh yes, round of applause please.
