How old are you and where are you from?

John/jack seems like one of the more commonly known ones due to JFK.

Peggy/Margaret, Harry/Henry, and Sally/Sarah are the there I wasn't familiar with. The other 7 seemed pretty standard.

Mid twenties from Aus. Knew Peggy randomly for some reason, not sure why. Used to watch Third Rock in the 90's and asked my parents why they called him Dick and they told me it's short for Richard. Since then I've seen it quite a lot.

Don't know very much about JFK, didn't know he was nicknamed Jack (which is probably lol ignorant on my part)

Think Henry Louis "Hank" Aaron. One oddball example doesn't mean you discard the general statement.

But I will add something along these lines that pisses me off:

I was immensely passed off that I read your correcting post on my way home from work several hours ago, but could only now acknowledge it. I have no idea why I'm so embarrassed about posting something so stupid in a forum where no one knows who I am.

Also, the fact that both Stephen and Steven exist, but both turn into Steve posses me off.

I listen to a lot of Pandora, and I constantly hear this terrible commercial for Grain Belt beer where a guy is giving a toast and random audience members playfully shout things back at in agreement, it's like this overly scripted parody of real life where everyone's just saccharin-sweet good buddies with eachother, and your life can be just as fun and effervescent as theirs if you just drink GRAIN BELT BEER!!! It's probably local so I doubt anyone here has heard it, but if so I'd love to know. Couldn't find a recording online.

When I'm watching a ball game and some ******* runs out on the field and the broadcast will not show what happens. The guy is going to get his ass kicked by security or maybe even tazed. I want to see that, it maybe be better than the game.
