Yeah, 2k and I might go out there, but people are finding $80 and going nuts like it's life changing money. The worst part is people are making him out to be some sort of philanthropist when there's obv an ulterior motive.

so it's like a treasure hunt basically? i think it's a cool idea, but i feel like i've read about at least one w much cooler prizes.

I recently got my car refinanced, so I was at the bank going over all the documents with a banker. He was going ****ing nuts on his fingers. Was constantly flipping through pages, and was double licking for each one. Literally within less than five seconds of each other. Wtf?

is there an acceptable number of pages/lick? or is it zero period? because i totally do that, old school i guess. it's also an issue counting money...(i know counters, meh) i guess you could also have one of those things tellers do....but who does that? the finger lick is tried and true.

"disgusting" is the wrong term and makes you sound like baby, but the action of licking your fingers to turn a page is a good mention and pisses me off too since I dont understand what causes someones fingers to be unable to function without licking them first. I have never once struggled with that

banned, part of that sounds right--at least wrt the types of 'treasures' but this would've been like 6-8yrs ago(that i read about it) and the -finds-were spread out over different places i think. i really wanna say it was like there were gem-type pieces(like brooches and stuff) that were hidden. and the story was written in a high-quality magazine(i'm talking the paper..not a cheesy rag like time or whatever)

I love seeing them in Manhattan they think they really blend in. Yeah, that yellow cab being driven by a big burly white dude with a crew cut looks totally legit.

lol, that and that they actually always have two people in the front , not to mention their police sequenced plates.

I remember one time , me and a friend were about to go to a poker spot on houston street , and he notices one of their fake taxis , and he is like, that's a dt car. we walk to the corner of houston and eldridge and lo an behold, they come out with other cops and raid the place.. that sucked for some guys as they took them to the tombs for the weekend.
