Sure. I'll agree that it could be awkward, but it is situational. If some guy sits in B2 and is looking out the window and checking his ipad/iphone, etc and seems like a normal guy, then no sweat. If he sits there and stares holes in your forehead then, yeah, that is weird.
Here is the other part though. Let's say a family of four with two little brats is coming next. Then you and the guy in B2 both win. He has ensured they are not at a table next to you, and now he doesn't have to face a whole family.
Anyway, it is situational. If a hot girl sits in B2 I am guessing your reaction is different.
