That the name of a person (or string of words that can link to another article) on Wikipedia is only a hyperlink the first time it appears, and not every time.

No, I leave an earphone in if I don't want to or need to talk.

People who edit Wikipedia. I love Wikipedia and know these people use their own time and probably do a great job.
However they conjure up images of an overly pedantic school teachers, which makes me mad.

When people walk into an elevator while on the phone, see that the button for the floor they want is already lit up, but they press that button anyway.

Ebola yourselves

Not sure if it's the same thing but those short-billed baseball caps.

+1 . I tried to remember how that trend started and I think I spotted some kids uptown (Harlem) , wearing it first.

That's most likely your DVR starting to record the new channel each time so you can "pause live TV". Unplug that sucker and you're lag free!

People who don't know how to load a dishwasher.

People still use dishwashers? I thought that was a late 90s fad that finished. I have one in my kitchen, but I've used it maybe 20 times in 3 years, too much effort.

wrt thread, I hate how in this country, people will frequently complain about somebody doing something and then when faced with that person, pretend to agree with them. I was paying for groceries with saved up coupons and change today, I was using a self-service and there was no one around so I wasn't hurting anyone. I heard two loudmouth mid-40s workers there complaining about me and being quite rude. I've been shopping there for 10 years and these ladies have worked for at least 5 so we know each other well. At the end of it I apologised if I caused any inconvenience and they were pretending to be supportive, understanding and empathetic, yet they were bitching about me 5 minutes before! It's a common practice here, in most other cultures and countries I've been to and lived in people are usually either brash and direct-whether they are speaking to you or about you-or they avoid complaining about people whatsoever, here it's the worst of both scenarios.

Lol, how is a dishwasher more effort than washing by hand?

If you live alone/one other person, it takes a while to fill it up and empty it in comparison to doing small batches by hand.
