Finally!
Bet not a single cyclist had his passport with him at the time, so all the police got was 26 false names.
Just run them over seems more fair.

Rich people who are tight/miserly, my grandpa used to be a millionaire but also had a 20 year old TV because he didn't want a new one, and he used to complain about the price of tomatoes. I know lots of people like that now, one guy I know earns about $80k, lives at home, and doesn't want to spend more than $150 on a phone because it's too much. I get it, people have the right to do as they wish to their money, but it still pisses me off (even though it shouldn't).

They still probably splurge on bagels, though.

People who pluralize things that are not plural. Kroger is not krogers, chipotle is not chipotles.

My mom is doing well yet when I picked her up from LAX yesterday she asked me to wait near a gas station so I wouldn't have to pay $3 for parking.

Edit:She was pretty mad about me having parked in the lot.

<slight derail (I hope)>
Watching the fantastic BBC America Top Gear and it seems that Britian does some of each?

I think I've seen them at the pumps on some adventure where the pump shows liters dispensed, but they discuss miles to places or MPG on cars.

Is this so? Is there a rule about when to use which?

There's no rule. You've just got to be as confusing as possible.

It's largely just miles that are still used, a bit feet and inches for height and sometimes stone for a person's weight. Other than it's all metric I think.

Frankly, it's ****ing ridiculous

This is fantastic, There's some BS bicyclist thing going in in my neighborhood in SE Portland right now and I have cops and entitled civilians trying to direct me away from parking at my apartment. Enjoy the LAW bikers.

This is usually a big reason why they are rich or still rich and why most people who win the lottery become broke or fail. They don't spend unnecessarily. I agree with you it pisses me off, but I know for sure if I was more frugal I'd have more money.

When crowds start cheering during the final lines of The Star Spangled Banner instead of waiting for it to finish. Why even bother singing "and the home of the brave" when everyone drowns you out anyway?

Well yes the extremes are ridiculous but alot of times the lean towards the most frugal can be a big factor in successful people.

Little League World Series.

8 teams from the U.S compete in order for one of them to reach the Finals while you have 8 other teams from different parts of the world competing for the international title, ugh. Why not just have ONE team representing the U.S? WHY IS THE U.S GUARANTEED A SPOT IN THE FINALS?

parents screaming USA!!! USA!!! USA!!! during a little league baseball game JFC

It takes me longer to dig around in my pocket to get that penny than it takes the cashier to make change.
