When you get food and bring it home but they forgot to put in ketchup, soy sauce, salsa, etc. even though you already have jars of that stuff in the fridge. It’s not the same.

That it's so fun to say salsa.

That in Mexico every sauce is called "salsa". Was very confused the first time my boyfriend said he made the best salsa for pasta night.

those smug and cheery antonellis and their god damn'd virtue signaling cheese

I copied this from Wikipedia:

This is a list of French cheeses documenting the varieties of cheeses, a milk-based food that is produced in wide-ranging flavors, textures, and forms, which are found in France. In 1962, French President Charles de Gaulle asked, "How can you govern a country which has two hundred and forty-six varieties of cheese?"There is immense diversity within each variety of cheese, leading some to claim closer to anywhere between 1,000 and 1,600 distinct types of French cheese. French cheeses are broadly grouped into eight categories, 'les huit familles de fromage.

Obviously the French are masters at virtue signaling cheese.

PS: I have visited my Friends in France numerous times and sampled a great variety of cheeses. Most silly of all is that cheese is served as a dessert in France. And you sometimes open a special bottle of wine to have with the cheese.

That I have to pick between going to see Primus (doing Rush tribute set) and Dead & Company (doing Grateful Dead tunes with members of the actual Grateful Dead).

I made the right choice, I think.
