I love them--particularly if they take some thought to figure out.

Almost anything that helps to break up the monotony of a drive is welcome. If the drive isn't monotonous, then they aren't even noticed.

We read from left to right and from top to bottom.

When watching a baseball game on tv, why does FOX TV show the score in the lower right corner instead of the upper left corner?

It pisses me off!

Try pressing the buttons on the side of the screen, one of them usually mutes the ad. Different button depending on the type of pump, but I usually have good luck with second from the top.

i might try that but usually i go to the places that dont do that. and if others did it then the commercials would stop. as they make most of their money from the items inside that people like to buy and pay 50% more for.

That doesn't sound like a good experience. I once saw someone drive off with the pump still in the car. Hose pulled out of the socket, but the shut-off kept fuel from spewing out of the pump.

Was thinking of you this AM; got an ad on my home page for "up to $5,500 off" from International, with a picture of a tractor-trailer. Not sure why they think I'd be up for owning a big truck.
