Seeing people playing Baccarat when walking through a casino, and watching them look at their cards, often with notepad and pen close by, studiously and intently, weighing their decision based on total nonsense. There is no way to make a "bad" decision...or a "good" one (unlike blackjack). It is a game that a four year old could do better than Bill Gates (just like slots).

It pisses me off that a whole game/culture spends so much time agonizing over something that cannot possibly change the outcome.

I don't reaallllllyyyy care, but it rubs me the wrong way, so it must piss me off.

I was in San Diego a couple months back and this small little cafe had magicians performing tricks tableside for tips. It should piss everyone off so it doesn't really fit the thread, but I was pissed that I was the only person visibly tee'd off. This is becoming a thing apparently.

An absolutely annoying messy habit popular in many east European rural areas: sunflower seeds eating.

And nope it is not that you take some some sunflower seeds with already removed outer skin and put them on your salad or bread and enjoy it in this form. It is that people take this seeds with intact outer skin, put it seed for seed in their mouth, break the outer skin with their teeth then separate it from the seed itself and spew the skin in best case in something like a napkin and in worst case directly on the floor.

It is loud, messy and super annoying to watch but pretty relaxing to do it yourself.

Haven't had any sunflower seeds with the shell in a very long time. But, when I do, I eat them whole. I remember the salsa or bbq ones being good flavor. Lotta sodium tho.

Depends on who exactly is doing it. I watched a woman doing it on the train and spitting the shells directly on the train floor yesterday. That triggered the post about it.

This seems like one of the flags you would talk about when thinking back about someone that turned out to be a murderer.

I guess saying "whole" was inaccurate. Looks like I conflate "eating" with chewing up things first.

I chew them up then swallow them, don't discard anything.

Actually good fiber, similar to eating pumpkin seeds with their fibery outer shell, good taste on the salsa and bbq flavored ones.
