A coworker went to the doctor and found out he had a huge build up of earwax. The doctor removed it and he said his hearing improved so much he felt like he had a super power now after living with diminished hearing for who knows how long.

I went to the doctor and I don’t have any earwax build up so I won’t get to experience that.

i did this recently in my left ear and its true, your hearing increases so much you feel like a different person. i dunno why i waited like 6 months i figured it would just clear up itself. it did not.

I usually get my morning coffee from the same busy gas station every morning, Wawa. Since I get there around 6:45a.m. there's all sorts of city road service workers, truckers, construction working, foot long beard, rugged MAGA types there fixing their coffee at the same time. I notice that the majority of them use french vanilla creamer in their coffee and it pisses me off.

I get corrected more on the "stand on line" line nowadays , it used to be everyone in nyc would say that , one of the few downsides of gentrification .

Lol. My daughter is learning sign language in kindergarten and three is thumb/pointer/middle. My son, who tells everyone he meets that he is three and puts up the three middle fingers melted the **** down when she showed him the ASL way yesterday. It was one of their worst arguments in recent memory. It pisses him off, too.

a german friend of mine made me aware of that. he says that's how they knew they weren't German in that basement scene.

I think Hellstrom already knew. I think he plan was to drink his toast, then leave and return with troops. But the 3 fingers thing was such an obvious and egregious blunder that it forced his hand. It was a "Now they know I know" thing.
