People that don't use the moving walkways at airports. I've been stuck at PHX for hours now and admirals club-hopping. The moving walkways are empty yet people opt to walk the non-Jetsons way.

Do you get peeved at people using the stairs instead of the escalators? I do both Fwiw. I usually want to stretch my legs after flying so walking seems a good option.

You walk on the moving walkway it just takes half the time to get to your destination.

That our IT is a fail. I should have had today a new PC set-up and ready for work. Didn't happen. Result: I spent three hours nose-picking and twiddling my fingers instead of doing something more or less productive or at least fun.

Annoyed as hell. Shouldn't be because I get paid a solid hourly for this hours of nose-picking.

I am actually not sure, since I am in large areas IT dumb.

In my understanding virtual machine is basically a program that emulates certain features of a real system. I got a new physical machine (physical object) that did need installation of few things. I do use at home a virtual machine on my PC whenever I need some unix (probably not the best solution...... but it works).

For the last few years I've gone to an Irish bar (in the US) for New Year's Eve and they celebrate the Irish new year (when it turns midnight in Ireland) and they do a mini ball drop at 7pm eastern time (my local time). It pisses me off that every Irish bar doesn't do this.

In my ideal world on New Year's Eve I go from bar to bar with each bar celebrating a different countries new year.

One of the few things posters on Reddit do well, is post a bunch of different feeds for pretty much all sports.

I've noticed a lot of memes people are sharing on facebook now look like a static image but they're actually a video. I guess this keeps people from just saving the image and texting it to people, so it probably encourages the "share" button but it's ****ing annoying as hell (not because it's preventing me personally from doing anything, just the idea that people are trying to make things harder on purpose).
