You bread snobs go to grocery stores and get hard-ass french rolls - which are completely wrong for a sub for reasons mentioned.

French roll is good for something like a sausage sandwich where you want the bread to stand up to the grease. Subs need a softer touch.

Suzzer, olives and green peppers are the only two things i can think of regularly served at American restaurants i dont want to eat. I will get a BMT in my own fashion, i go cucumber instead of pickle. Edit: looking over your sandwich, ill just sub cucumbers for olives. And maybe not toasted. I actually like the italian herbs and cheese bread untoasted.

As I said it doesn't bother me as much as eating and I realise it's slightly ridiculous. The only time I have ever been personally affected was when someone bumped into me and spilt their drink all over me. Logically as I am more likely to be affected by someone drinking in a supermarket than eating, I should be more irritated the other way round. I'm human though so logic doesn't always prevail. I'm also biased by what you are drinking; my least hated being water my most hated being energy drinks. Again this makes no sense as logically hot drinks should be the ones most hated

Ignoring the bread, its not like the meat and cheese quality is anything to write home about at subway. I would say subway meat and cheese are about 70% of say Boar's head quality.

You couldn't pay most non-******ed people to eat subway's meat logs/loafs. ****ty cheese is fine.

After a year and a half of not being able to use my dishwasher due to roommate issues, I finally have my own personal dishwasher in my own personal kitchen. But I am irrationally upset that my new dishwasher takes forever to wash dishes, and then, when it finally stops making noise, it waits 20-30 minutes, and then runs through one more rinse cycle.

What kind of issues with a roommate doesn’t allow you to use a dishwasher?

Subway olives arent even good olives, just canned bull****. Its fine to like olives on a sandwich. The aforementioned muffuleta is almost defined by the olive spread. Subway olives is like 10 year old can of goya or dive bar martini quality.

It was a weird situation for a lot of reasons. She had a long-established pattern of doing this with the third resident of the house, and I was the newcomer coming in.

I'm a big believer in picking my battles, and for whatever reason this was important to her, and it just wasn't worth that much to me. If that makes me a bit of a doormat I'm okay with that. I did draw the line in some areas.

She's not a bad person, she just doesn't much like people and resented having to share her space at all. She previously owned her own home and lost it due to medical issues and the associated bills.

Wow I thought I had some strange housemates in my time lol. I don't think I could have tolerated this and I am pretty easygoing to live with.

I had a housemate once that would put dishes and silverware with hardened on food on them in the dishwasher, expecting that the dishwasher would work magic.

The grilled chicken at subway has carmel coloring fake grill marks and is reconstituted instead of actual breast meat. If you think a place that does that is a middle of the road sandwich shop, and not an obscenity, get your head right.

And yes, bread is not a healthy food. It should be delicious if you are going to indulge.
