I take it you spend 100% of your disposable income on cancer research? No? Cool.
If society's sole purpose was to cure cancer then time and natural resources are definitely wasted, I'll grant you that.
Also, why do you think "foreign rich guys" don't want to cure cancer? Does cancer only affect local, non-rich guys? Torontonians are the only ones who get cancer and care about finding a cure?
