the bride to be seems like a terrible person, groom seems like a total meathead loser, but the bride made sure to let the photographer know he got a job at deloitte in a voice that was loud enough that everyone else heard (I have earbuds in and heard her clear as a bell).

I used to live in the Valley - I know I saw at least one porn deal go down at Starbucks. Tiny little super-hotty blonde in sweats, with the requisite loser stoner boyfriend - seated across from sleazy-looking 45-year-old. After they signed some papers and left, I saw her climb up into an Escalade as loser BF got in the passenger seat.

Another thing that sucks is sometimes they'll have some special section that you see too late. Like, pick your protein: chicken or turkey. Hmmm chicken I guess. Then as I'm scanning down to the next choice, I notice a box under the protein choice like: or for $1 more upgrade to super awesome steak or delicious pork!

Did you happen to hear details of the deal? My guess is some god-awful low flat rate for all day coverage that the photographer couldn't possibly make a living at, and the bride will end up with 2000 garbage photos on a thumb drive.

Not my wedding, so it shouldn't piss me off, yet it does.

I also hate when I order something at a fast casual restaurant that is clearly a set thing, and the employee ends up asking me a ton of questions about what I want on it. Just give it to me how it comes! Picky eaters have ruined this **** for normals.

On the subject - people who agonize over a menu decision like they're buying a house. It's freaking food that will be coming out your other end in a few hours. If two things sound good to you you're probably going to like either one within a few %.

I've never once told a waiter to come back while I decide, even if I forgot to look at the menu. If everyone else is ready I'll pick something in 15 seconds.

Yes! There's this banh mi place near me that the standard sandwich is described like: pork, pate, carrots, cilantro, jalapeño.

Every time I order it, same thing: "jalapeños ok?"

Yes!

I know it's not their fault and is just because of idiots ordering it and then complaining about the jalapeños.

To find out in an unbiased way, just go to some places where you don't have a hookup and ask for a club soda / soda water with your meal. Then they'll either charge you for a soda or give you a water cup.
