There is a difference in "that should piss you off" or "that shouldn't piss you off" vs. something that seems out of left field.

Do you think if someone posted "When people hand me money" in this thread, it's out of line to question that?

Of course they take it if offered, but it's not at all expected. I would give them $1-2 when they cleaned my windshield for me and they would be happy with it.

Ah - they never seemed to ask or receive them when I worked around Lindhurst in the mid-2000s.

It pisses me off that people enjoy things I do not.
That many people seem to hate cinemas these days.

Don't know if I'm just running ridiculously good in terms of fellow cinema goers, but I go about once a week and still love it. Would watch every film there if I could.

20% of traffic through the neighborhood goes through the cul-de-sac to leave. Why? Pisses me off so much
Put up official-looking arrow signs, one on each side, directing motorists to use the main road. You, your visitors and those of #28 will ignore the arrows while most of the 20% who are pissing you off will now continue on the main road.

Try to get #28 to pay half.

I don't know anyone who uses the word "cinema."

I believe a cinema is when a bunch of actors dressed like smart allec comic book characters who are all invincible throw each other into cgi buildings for 90 minutes for the 11th time this year.

THe trend of using kids cereals, such as fruity pebbles or Cocoa Puffs, as toppings on sugary "gourmet" dessert abominations.

I think this should piss you off, but I only think that because it pisses me off too, and I want it to be rational.

yeah, but the probability that a "burrito" made from a candy floss tortilla filled with bubble gum ice cream, marshmallow sauce, rainbow sprinkles and jelly bellies touching my lips does not change based on rolling it in crumbled Cinnamon Toast Crunch or not. So I shouldn't care.

That I never had Fruity Pebbles, Coco Puffs, nor any normal kids' sugar-and-colorings-bomb cereal. I mean, I should probably be glad since it's all garbage and just a generally stupid thing to feed to anyone as a "meal", like my parents used to point out the part about "a part of this nutritious breakfast" showing the complete breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, and OJ that any moron can see is a complete breakfast without the cereal. "Don't be stupid like the rest of the losers you go to school with or their idiot parents..." probably didn't help with my social skills neither.

No. **** all that superhero noise. I tried, and just can't give a **** when there is literally no suspense. Why do these ****ers even bother fighting when nobody can get hurt? It's like watching someone play a video game. Irrelevant action between under developed plot breaks.

Exactly. Giant yawn when you know the characters can't be hurt. The part where they do get hurt is always broadcast with setup and scary music.

I liked Deadpool because it was basically the anti-super-hero movie. And Dark Knight because it was art. That's about it. Keaton's Batman >>> 95% of current super hero movies.

The Avengers was my favorite comic as a kid. I just wasn't that interested in the movies. Finally the first movie on a plane. I will say it was slightly more entertaining than I expected. The origin story was well done and the SHIELD thing was cool.

Haven't seen it. The only superhero movie I've seen since The Dark Knight was The Watchmen, which I actually really liked.

The following was posted on another thread:

Every word capitalized? Pisses me off, but definitely shouldn't.

Well you haven't met me then.

I think (and am open to be corrected) that it is a US/Europe difference. I hear 'movie theater' used in the US and no one in Europe would say that. To me, a theater/theatre is for live performances. Most in Europe would refer to going to see a film not a movie.

or in other words, typical case of lolEuro

Edit-
Speaking of lolEuros, should it piss me off that most non-Euro foreigners, and many Euros, seem to have no concept of personal space whatsoever?

Example: paying for your stuff at the store and the next person in line stands close enough to you that hes bumping your elbows.

Example 2: take my kid to free swim after his swim lesson and sit down at a small table along the side of the pool. Put my kids stuff under his seat and hang his towel off the back, with my coffee on the table. Nobody else at all sitting on that entire side of the building. There are probably 8-10 chairs, 4 lounge recliners, 2 large tables, and a couple small tables.
As soon as he gets in the pool a group of 4 euro women with their kids walks in... and one of them immediately sits in the chair that has all my kid's stuff on it. These chairs dont have armrests, so shes basically on my lap. They then put their crap on the tiny table that has my coffee on it the other 3 pull some chairs over, just completely oblivious.
Meanwhile the big table that has 5 chairs around it, and the entire rest of the row of seats remains empty.

I guess the real question is, should it piss me any less than if someone born and raised in USA#1 did the same thing?
