I stand up as soon as I can after the plane lands because my legs have a weird not good feeling from sitting down for too long.

If the flight was 15 minutes longer you'd sit and not think twice about it. Standing with your butt at my face level for 10 minutes is a very mild annoyance though.

One time when we were deplaning, I could tell the guy in the row behind me wanted out. I don't stand until it's my turn. When my turn came I was moving out into the aisle and he goes past me fast, we're like bumping into each other. I block the aisle so the guys wife can't get by, let my wife out from the window seat, then pass him as he moves to the side and waits for his wife. One of my finest accomplishments.

When people were walking/standing for a while they prefer to sit. When they have been sitting they prefer to stand. That's a real head scratcher.

Doesn't work. There is no mac app afaik. You have to follow the link to iCloud, which isn't exactly clear. It's very easy to get into a vortex of the itunes page for the iOS app and lots of pages that say how wonderful Find My Iphone is.

We have the same issue at work with our new time reporting system. A dozen pages of help, documentation and other crap, but no obvious link to the actual system. I finally found the actual link buried at the bottom of one page in a section called "I want to:" 4th bullet point down.

Someone else I talked to found an even more obscure route. It's like exchanging treasure maps.

Nope. In this case it is people thinking they will be finished with air travel faster if they cram themselves in tight places. The behavior is clear as day and it transcends every aspect of logic and consideration in the whole affair.

I'm talking about before boarding is called and the Pavlovian response you site occurs. Before that point people are guarding homesteading on their seats and taking up as much space with their ****ty belongings as possible. If they can make it difficult for someone to sit next to theme or get down the aisle, all the better.

If the flight was 15 minutes longer I would be uncomfortable for another 15 minutes. It's not like for entire second half of the flight I felt fine until we landed then my legs and ass started aching. I also will stand in the waiting area until boarding the plane because I know I'm about to be seated for a few hours.

I guess I'm the only one on this forum that has aches like this.

PS I'm not old but I am tall (6' 4")

I'm on the tall side, so it can be painful cramped up in those tiny airline seats.

Is there a lot of getting up and walking off leg cramps in First Class?
