People who claim to know doormen on nights out really piss me off. Could be just an English thing but every time there's a night out organised with work or uni or whatever there's always a situation, whether it be an altercation or someone not having their ID with them. There's always some dick head who says 'it's ok I know ALL the bouncers'
1, since when did it become cool to know door staff? 2, I have never seen an altercation/ID situation be diffused by the guy who claims to know all the bouncers.
I didn't get the memo yet on jorts being out of style so I'm going to wear them again this year with my black socks and leather sandals with the tire tread soles.
It doesn't really annoy me, but I find it weird when people say stuff like "you're my only son, I want you to give up drugs", or "she lost her only son", as if it is ok if you have two sons or more that one of them ends up a drug addict or dead, it's just a weird thing that people say.
I just mean there is definitely a different relationship between only sons and their parents, especially mothers, so it's understandable that people say things like that.
This Citi card commercial or whatever with the song "somebody left the gate ooooo-pen" where a married couple use their citi points to buy rock-climbing gear and climb to the top of some stupid tall, thin rock in the middle of nowhere.
Too lazy to look for the commercials that cause tilt thread so I'll post it here as something that shouldn't piss me off but does.
JFC, right as I'm reading your post, the commercial comes on......
WHAT GIRL WOULDN'T WANT NEW SHOES!? Oh but she's not your everyday average superficial girl! She's getting climbing shoes! Because she's a Type-A doer! SOMEBODY LEFT THE GATE OOOOOOOO-PENNNNN...
when a car gets to a stop sign first and "gives me the signal" to walk across. I always end up like running a bit. It makes me feel rushed.
Same thing when someone holds a door open and I'm nowhere near the door. I feel obligated to walk faster so I won't look like a lazy bum.
These people are really just trying to be nice but they need to analyze the situation better when they need to do this. It pisses me off for a few sec. but it shouldn't.
When I'm waiting to cross a 2 lane road one car would stop let me cross but I have to wait for both lanes to be clear before I go over and that awkward moment when I have to tell the car to move on, either that or the car drives because it was waiting so long.
Traveling in the left lane of a highway during rush hour. Speed limit is 65 but normal for this lane is 75-80. Right lane moves at about 65. You come up behind some dick in the left lane doing 67; slightly faster than the right lane but much slower than is normal for the left. In front Mr. Clueless there is at least 1/2 mile of open lane. Meanwhile, behind you the left lane is packed with cars bumper-to-bumper at least 30 deep. There are plenty of open spaces in the right lane for Mr. Clueless to move into where he would only need to slow down slightly, but he refuses to do so, and none are large enough that you could go around Mr. Clueless and get back in the left lane; if you move over to try you will be trapped. Mr. Clueless is usually driving a hybrid or a 20 year-old car. This should piss me off, and it does.
But, when you finally have room to go around on the right, once you move back into the left lane Mr. Clueless will either speed up and match your speed, or finally realize that he's the cork in a great big bottle-neck and move over. This pisses me off even more but it shouldn't. Why do I care? I'm already around the *******. What he does now doesn't make any difference to me.
^ I know the thread gets violated all the time in this regard, but that definitely should piss you off. Pisses me off like every day unfortunately
Spoiler:
you care because that guy is a ****ing dick head holding up all other drivers for no good reason
But he is no longer holding anyone up. He has either sped up or moved over after I passed him. I'm already mad at him for being a dick. And now I'm even more mad that he changed his behavior right after it no longer affects me.

Still worth being pissed about imo but I'm pretty irrational when it comes to road rage sometimes. Anyone cruising in the passing lane will set me off
When webpages articles that have Top/Most X of Y, and make you ****ing hit the next button Y-1 times just to see all the content. Then to make it worse, the next button changes position on the screen based on the content size so I have to move my mouse each time also.
