I don't know anyone with a non- outdated phone under the age of 40 who doesn't. 100 messages sent and 100 received per week is completely standard and likely way way below the average for people in this thread.

Actually talking on the phone sucks and most normal people communicate via some type of text/messenger app.
Also agree with the sentiment regarding sound notification in general. I have mine on vibrate 100% of the time.

Which reminds me...
Phone conversations piss me off.

47-year-old here. I've texted 22 people in the last week. Probably 200 texts or more if I count them up. I also text from my computer at home and at work - so it's like another chat client for me sometimes.

There are 3 adults and 1 teenager on my plan and we average about 1500 texts a week that aren't iPhone to iPhone. I'd imagine the total is twice that if you count the iMessages.

Some of you are talking about actual texts as in SMS. It really pisses me off if you send 100+ of those texts. I was mostly talking about whatsapp kind of app services myself.

Regarding the bidet - I tried one of those when I visited my buddy in Japan. It was so relaxing I fell asleep on it after a night of drinking.

However is it really 100% effective replacement for wiping? Sometimes my dump comes out about the consistency of let's say - Nutella. When that happens, wiping is a long, laborious process. It's hard for me to imagine that a little squirt jet is going to dislodge all of that.

I haven't looked at my bill in a long time, but I'd wager I do over 1,000 texts per week. Essentially have running convos with a few people, and when I'm really high I fire off texts to a bunch of folks seeing who will engage me.

It all started with a complaint about the notification sound for text messages which only applies to sent messages. That's why I only considered those.
