The smell of coffee isn't good, but I like chocolate-covered coffee beans, coffee-flavored ice cream, and coffee stouts/porters.

And back on topic, I'm sure there are plenty of people out there who would be pissed off about that but shouldn't be.

I can really only truly enjoy coffee from little cafes in Tuscany and Lombardy. Cafes in Emilia-Romanga or Veneto are okay but giant LOL @ anyone who enjoys coffee in Venice. Swill for tourists.

I had an iced cappuccino with cold foam from Starbucks yesterday and I gotta say, it wasn’t good and I didn’t like it compared to coffee from other places.

Odd, I always enjoy that.

A flavored latte is like 4oz of espresso and 12 - 16oz of hot, sweet, foamy milk, which totally overpowers the espresso. So no, I don't expect to taste the difference between top of the line beans and regular beans.

Ugh, coffee snobs are the ****ing worst. I've done coffee tastings at snooty roasters in Boulder where you sip a bunch of different coffees at a bunch of different brew intervals AND THEY ALL TASTED THE SAME, like brackish water.

When you're taking a dump on an awkward heigth (ucwidt?) toilet and your foot/leg starts to fall asleep or cramp.

Do you stand up to stretch? Do you rush it? Do you just continue soldiering on and hope you're able to stand when finished?

You lean to the opposite side of whichever foot/leg is going to sleep to get some blood flowing.

There's too many variables for a cramp. That's a case by case situation.

Yeah that's why i made sure to excise it out.

When i did my bicycle tour of Italy I was the only American. There was an Australian couple whose adult children live in California and they had just finished spending a month there. They tried to explain to all the Euros what American coffee is but the Euros couldn't comprehend it. The Euros could only conceive of an Americano.

In Rome (before the tour) I would order coffee in English and get exactly what i was expecting, American coffee. Nobody outside of the tourist parts of Italy even knows what that is, which was really surprising to me.

Also interesting, the Australians pointed out that in America you always eat your salad first (which i ldo had assumed was standard). In Euroland we would be served a starter course, then you'd get the salad and main course at the same time. You could eat your salad before the main course, after the main course, with the main course, after dessert. Apparently in Australia it's standard to eat your salad last because it is very hot there. I'm assuming we eat our salads first in USA#1 because restaurants didn't want you ordering and then sitting there with nothing to distract you from how long it's taking to get your food.

Many a time have I suffered paralysis of the foot. Sometimes up to the knee.

One hilarious instance I was unable to maintain standing and I fell through my shower curtain into the tub! Took a selfie with curtain over my chest.

People that order FF from a busy local place and stand literally at the counter where the orders are being called and food being placed. Like chill out folks they won't forget your order, no one is taking your food and lastly your food won't come any faster.

Of course when my number is called I have to weave and duck and excuse me to 4-5 people hovering at counter to get my food. Invariably it's older people 50+ that seem to be the main culprits. They even block the soda machine at one place here in Phoenix which is even more tilting. (This is at Carolinas Mexican food for the AZ people)

People wearing hair styles that seem to require hair getting in their eyes.



It distracts me that they're always blinking the irritated eye and brushing the hair back.
