Im not quite understanding the problem.

If this were the exact chain of events I really wouldnt care if the guy wore gloves or not, as long as hands(gloves) were clean.

The whole point of the gloves is that they're disposable and sanitary. Washing the gloves just seems odd to me

It pisses me off that every sickness needs to be a "bug." If someone misses work because they were sick, it didn't have to be a 24-hour bug. It could have been an "I felt like ass, was getting rundown, and needed rest before it blew up into a full blown flu" type of thing.

Do Bay leaves make enough of a difference in taste in the sauce to warrant the occasions when you bite the **** out of one? Like, could anyone tell the difference if they were omitted from a big ass pot of sauce?

The answer to this will determine if I should or shouldn't be pissed about it.

Everything I've ever read or heard says to pull the bay leaves out of the food before serving. So, the fact that you're being served bay leaves should piss you off, regardless of what they do or don't add to the food.

It adds lots of flavor. You're supposed to take it out of the food because they themselves don't soften. So yes, should piss you off.
