So this is not for the obvious things that piss everybody off - but things that annoy you & I would think annoy others if they thought about it for a bit.

I think there could be a large variety of stuff people could relate to the subject. O.K. - I'll throw one out that annoys me & see if this thread is gonna work.

I seldom watch what seems the majority of the big networks put on in prime time these days. These endless shows that have to do with endless singing or some other talent where they throw in a twist from time to time.

What really annoys me with these shows is that when the performer is doing their thing - they keep cutting away to the host to see what their body language & expressions are - as if it is a cue to how the viewers should think & feel about it too. Especially on that show America's Got Talent

Oh yes - & they get people to call a number (I think as many as 10 calls per person) to vote on who they liked & they are paying a lot to vote.

Which leads me to a 2nd example of the kind of post. Over the years all these online poker sites & brick & mortar sites too.....will be happy to sell you a T-shirt or hat with the name of the venue on it for some ridiculous price where in fact - they should be giving them away or paying you - because obviously every time u wear their stuff.....u are giving them free advertising.

Lastly - I see that one of the original pro dancers from the original "Dancing With the Stars" (Juliette Hough I think) left that show a # of years ago for greener pastures & I think she tried Memphis or another Country Music City to try her luck at singing & Hollywood to see if she could get some acting chops. And now I think she is a judge on a singing show, so she has sort of come full circle.....lol.

Any future posts I would make to this, would just be the stuff in red here....all this other stuff is just ground rules, for lack of a better word right now.

When you are driving up to a pedestrian crossing when there is no traffic and an able bodied pedestrian clicks the button to make the lights go red, even though they could have waited a few seconds for you to drive by.

I’ve gotten a walking ticket for not doing this. A cop literally chased me into a store. Happened on Melrose. No traffic the way I crossed either (other way was a mess as always).

Me: ”There was no traffic, and nobody was trying to turn, and I was across the road in about 4 seconds.”
Cop: “The hand was red. License please.”

At this point I didn’t know if he was going to arrest me if I didn’t give it to him, and don’t have enough police encounters to know if that’s even a thing for walking, so I showed him my Nevada (at the time) license. Got a ticket. Was rage inducing.

You didn't get a ticket for doing what Ollieeeee said. You got a ticket for illegally crossing the street. You basically ran(walked) through a red light.

I knew that this topic would bring out some of the sarcasm brigade. Usually with the old & tired.....I can make a funnier sarcastic remark than u. But it's so common it is like water off a ducks back to me now.

their reactions are shown because the judges are part of the show. finding out what the judges say is part of the show. the performance is a part of the show but it's not the whole show. so to build drama and whatever, they show the judges' reactions during a performance. it's not a conspiracy by tv producers to mindtrick you.
