Thinking about the crossroads benefit concert at MSG I went to in ‘99. Certainly a Clapton fan but went because Bob Dylan was set to be there.

I had a pair of tickets but my friend didn’t come so I decided I’d sell the extra ticket while I was there and that would probably pay for my night. Ended up giving the ticket to a girl. That was one of the better decisions I made in my life. Still talk to her every now and then.

I even made the footage on the official DVD release. Center stage, 2nd row. I show up a few times.

Anyway, Dylan performed a sublime version of Not Dark Yet.




But I will never forget David Sanborn stealing the show with a wild sax solo during Little Wing.

Hello my name is Sammy. My friends and I are having a "fried eel all you can eat night" right now. Eel has become an endangered species in my counrty now. If you are caught catching/selling them commercial, you will go to jail for at least 60 days. We are currently only allowed to keep the eel we cath by rod.

My question to you, my name is Sammy, is, do you think it's ok for me/friends to catch eel by rod and eat them, or do you think we should let them back in the water, and stop fishing for them altogether?
