Thanks everyone

The swelling is a bit more pronounced and painful today. It's very common for the swelling to come up 24 hours later. They gave me 20 oxys for pain management, but they told me to try and manage the pain with just Tylenol. To be honest, with my addictive personality, I don't want to go near the oxys, so I'm just gonna keep going with the Tylenol.

Sleep last night was not great. Obviously I gotta sleep on my back, but my back is also sore. I ended up alternating between my bed and propping myself up on the couch.

Surgery wasn't what I expected. I think I've watched too much ER. I thought I'd be knocked out and then taken into the OR. I wasn't expecting to walk into the OR and get up on the table and then lie down looking up at the surgery lights. But that's the last thing I remember before waking up in the recovery room.

Overall, I'm still feeling pretty good. I can kinda see why some women get addicted to this stuff. You're completely unconscious for the surgery, and you just have to manage a little bit of pain post-surgery. And then voila, fantastic tits.

I have booked a week off work, but I already sat down and started answering emails this morning. It's too boring otherwise.

Sounds like recovery is starting off on a good foot. Glad to hear it but don't overdo it. Tits ftw!

Good luck with recovery and thanks for sharing all of this. I was curious about this kind of stuff when you mentioned you were trans in the online dating thread so it's cool to see that you found a spot to share your experiences.

I'm less than 24 hours away from the grand unveiling. I've pretty much been pain free since Sunday, although my chest muscles are still very sore, and I'm not supposed to be using them. I got under the muscle implants, which are more natural looking, but also have a more protracted recovery because the muscle has been moved. Sometimes, there are things I don't realize use my chest muscles (fastening my jeans!) and I get a shooting pain to remind me. I went into work briefly yesterday, but I get tired very quickly, so I'm still not back to full speed yet.

I am REALLY ready to get these dressings off. They are hot and itchy. And I haven't had a shower since last Monday. Fortunately, I'm a woman, so my body odor is a mixture of roses and kittens, but still...

Your pecs are activated during every single movement of the upper arm. The degree to which depends on how much abduction and adduction is occurring obviously.

I did some reading on over vs under muscle and it seemingly just boils down to how much actual breast existed in the first place, as well as how large the pectoral muscle actually is and that with larger pecs it is generally over because the bigger pecs contraction will change the shape of the breast if its under.

I had them unwrapped yesterday, and they look amazing . I'm really happy with the size, and they definitely suit my frame. I still have surgical tape over the incision, which is basically at the bottom of the crease of my boob. Over the next few weeks they will settle into a somewhat lower profile, and I can take the tape off in about a month.

Obviously I spent yesterday evening taking photos to update my linkedin profile.

1) Great thread, thanks for sharing, glad recovery is going well
2) The few times in my life I've been prescribed oxy it's very obvious to me why it's so tightly controlled. That **** is magic.

Congrats. I am trying now to imagine myself without my boobs and thinking of how much they are part of my identity.

Has there ever been a more appropriate time to post 'pics or it didn't happen'?

Congrats, and good luck.

I do have a shopping trip with a girl friend planned for tomorrow morning I'll get fitted for a bra and it will be nice to find out what size I ended up.

I've been wearing prosthetics for over two years - basically, what you'd wear if you'd had a mastectomy - so I thought I was aware of the effect of boobs on men, but I had very little cleavage to show. The last 24 hours have been quite eye opening. Guys IQs seem to have dropped by about 10, they are tripping over themselves to do stuff for me, and my male friends are stumbling around trying to find various euphemisms for "nice tits" ("I think you made a good decision"). Its a lot of fun !

So I had a professional measurement today, and I've ended up a 36D. I'm pleasantly surprised I'm a 36 - I thought I had a wider rib cage than that. I went a little crazy shopping - this is today's haul:

Two comfy bras, one in black and one in nude, one dressy bra in gray, and a strapless bra in black. Then a bunch of lower cut tops, and a jacket that I couldn't resist .

And I figure this thread ultimately has to have a pics, so this is going to be the one and only, if you need your fix of ladyboy boobage

Even though the implants are on the big side, I don't think they are disproportionate on my frame. If I'd gone any smaller I think I'd be thinking 'what if', whereas I know I wouldn't want to have gone any bigger than this, so I basically got exactly what I wanted.
