All I've ever learned from love was how to shoot somebody who outdrew ya......it's a cold and it's a broken hallelujah

I've probably had 100 burns in my life that led to peeling and maybe 30 that led to bumpy blisters. One time in Florida, while trying to learn to wind-surf, I got burnt so bad I peeled twice. I also developed cold sores all over my lips so bad that little kids at Disneyworld were staring at me. Took me until like age 28 to realize that I need to put sunblock on my lips too.

Basically I have like 8 out of the 10 risk factors for skin cancer. Age 49 - so far so good.

When you install your heated driveway make sure it goes all the way to the street.

Why do people prefer to deal with snow and ice for half the year instead of dealing with summer heat when every building and car has AC?

I understand 200 years ago it was easier to stay warm by making a fire than it was to cool off by having a big block of ice, but in the year 2018 it just seems silly and people being creatures of habit.

Why do people live with hurricanes, earthquakes, or tornadoes when they can just live in New England?

I believe we have pinpointed Northern Mississippi as the idea place to live in the US. Very little snow. When it's hot you have AC. Low traffic. Big Yards. Natural disasters are rare.

Yeah, but you would still be living in ****ing Northern Mississippi.

LOL!

That is sitting right on top of the New Madrid fault. A few hundred years ago the quake was so hard that the Mississippi River ran backwards. Or so I have read. It is a ticking bomb.

And of lesser note: ice storms, tornadoes, and mosquitoes.

I've never had any of those where I live either. We get dust storms and heat and a flash flood once every 10-12 years that just makes it slightly annoying to drive for that day.

I know everybody has dumb opinions about the best climate and is bewildered that other people may feel differently, but saying deserts are best because air conditioning is still quite the take.

Yeah I'll take LA - 72 and sunny 300 days/year and you can pretty much be outside in at most a light jacket all year round. If you live on the west side the pollution isn't too bad, and fires and mudslides aren't a concern. And if you can live close to where you work then traffic is nullified.

I'm getting a little tired of it now as I'm too old to enjoy the nightlife, and the hot girls are all too young to do anything but look at. But it had a good 20 year run.

I don’t know if the desert is the best, but I like living in the valley of the sun.

Middle of December and the heater was on this morning and the air conditioner kicked on this afternoon. Got to love that.

The pollution is worse than suzzer thinks but it isn’t like Calcutta or Beijing. Mostly it’s a solid trade off a little asthma spread around for endless sunshine

Unless the Santa Ana winds are blowing, it's not bad if you live and work west of the 405. Unless you count China's pollution.

Eh, I get it. In everyday life it's pretty common to have to walk outside to run errands, go out to eat, etc. In the past I've lived in Chicago and DC and I feel like a typical DC summer day (90, humid) pissed me off way more than a typical Chicago winter day (25, possibly snowy) did.

I love the cold. After living in LA for 20 years, it's different and fun. I did not feel that way growing up in the midwest.

I took my gf back to KC for Christmas one year and she got to experience -5, which was about 20 degrees colder than she'd ever felt.

It's funny because growing up you just think -5 is something that happens most years, whereas tropical temps are exotic and crazy. Whereas for her it was the exact opposite. Cold as exotic was just something I never considered.

Always have a head torch within easy reach in the house. Probably the car too.

Yoga/core strength/stretching exercise as suits you. Really helps with the aches and pains and stiffness as you get old, wish I'd started earlier.

Same. Grew up in the Midwest hating the cold and promised myself I'd live in California as soon as I had opportunity. Lived in San Diego for 15 years and loved it at first but toward the end the unchanging climate and constant sunshine began driving me crazy.

I now live in a climate similar to the Midwest and love all the seasonal changes, including rain, cloudy days, and even the cold and snow.

I wish I had figured out Suzzer was not going to do a wrap up post on his big trip.
Could have saved hundreds of seconds of clicking over the last several months.

Very entertaining none the less and maybe some of you would enjoy it as much as I have.
