I don't know why.. if someone invites you for a stake you don't make him wait that long.. so at 3am he finally decides to stake me $100 at commerce casino. I'm like finally and **** you you ****ing nit.. I'm really ****ing pissed to hell he made me wait that long...

I decided to play $4-8 limit.. I was doing well and moved to the same game but this time with a kill.. how many net kids know that term?

in 7 hours i managed to make plus $500.. I was running really hot and the table was real fishy.. I made a value bet on the river with 1 pair and 2 others called in a 300 dollar pot!! the balls!!

anyways.. so i decided to tell him I only made $200 instead of $500. the next morning.. we're still there.. I decide to play a $120 satallite.. winner gets about $1000k. I run like hot getting KK 3 different times.. getting paid every time and win the damn thing.

so I went from $0 to having about $1400 in less than 16 hours so I felt pretty damn good..so I pay him back his $100.. buy a round of drinks.. buy dinner.. give him half of my 8th of bomb weed. pretty fairly paid back I think? right?

after all that we get home and he demands another $100. I am shocked.. I'm like wtf? we're buddies and he wants 100% return?!! I'm like **** you.. go suck a dick.. I'm a good player that's why I made all that loot.

he gets really really angry.. and calls me cheap and greedy etc etc.. we get into a big fight and start yelling.. blah blah...he says.. "tonight I lost $200 and if you would just cover half of my losts I would feel that much better.. can you do that?" I'm like **** you .. "not my problem that you can't take a $200 hit"

he gets really made and calls me greedy.. anyways.. just tilted the **** out of me for a while
shoulda given your buddy 700 bucks .....lol.

The server would announce what each meal was, and would wait for someone to claim it as their own. The cheapskate thought that this was completely unacceptable. Usually he'd sarcastically mutter "Go ahead and auction off the food" as the server announced what was on each plate, making everyone uncomfortable.

Eventually we all stopped wanting to go our for meals with him, and stopped inviting him along. Him stealing from us with his credit card scam was the final straw. It was amazing how much less stressful our dinners were without him being there.
Just read most of the thread and while there are far worse offenses, I think the muttering of "Go ahead and auction off our food" might be the mostly tilting thing of all time. If anyone ever does this I'm kicking them from the table mid-meal because they are the worst person ever.

How low of a value do you have to put on your leisure time to be this cheap!?

With the ketchup packets especially it makes no sense at all to decant them into a bottle. They aren't gaining anything by doing it when they could just put the packets in a drawer or something.

My point is mainly that people waste a lot of time/energy, because it's not easy to be that cheap. You must really not value your leisure time very highly if that's the case, i.e. get a life.

they might do it so that when people come over they dont look cheap lol

Most of them actually enjoy it. It IS their hobby.

well the deal was for him to loan me $100 and I would pay him back plus "whatever is fair" I really made 500 but told him i made 200

at this point i paid him back and bought drinks, dinner, weed.. which was like a $50 value

plus we're buddies

if i were in his shoes i would expect the same thing..nothing more

so now i have my own bankroll and i am on my own.. I won the $1k by myself.. why does he expect a $100?

it just tilted me for so long that he argued with me and called me greedy

(most you haters are just jealous prolly cuz i went from busto $0 to 1400 in 16 hours (live))

If you were going to pay him 'whatever was fair', why did you feel the need to lie to him?

That's probably true for some people. Man, what a lame hobby. WoW crafts is a million times less loser-ish than that.

Why would it matter if you wouldn't have paid him if you didn't cash? Not saying you would or wouldn't have paid him back in that case.

But since you DID cash, he gets the money, what's the difference?

I am probably missing something here.

yes we're all jealous you went from one insignificant amount of money to another then screwed your friend over who had the decency to stake you (probably a losing player). you got it.

edit: your friend called u greedy because you are.

at least i'm not a moron/losing player thinking that 100% return is fair. If someone were to pay me back 100% I would return close to 80%.. no 90%

he staked you 100$. you ran it up to $1400. you owe him 100$ back, plus 50% of your profits. ducy?

and you probably are a losing player from the sound of it.

good for you to have the social graces necessary to force the term "probably" out. I could not have done the same.
