I read the whole thread, and for me this is the winner. At least as far as purely being cheap is concerned.
As pointed out by others there are a whole lot of other worse things in this thread which are basically lying and/or stealing. I'm not counting those. There is nothing really dishonest about what this guy is doing, it's just the essence of being cheap.
I consider myself a pretty nitty, frugal person, but I can't even come close to competing with most of the stuff in this thread.
