Lol @ ladies distributing water bottles, where i played at (snobbish European venues) they

-hide one water tank in the very back of casino, at place where literally noone sees it
-charge you 3eur for a 0.25l of water. You know that small glass bottle.
-of course casinos that do that don't allow you to carry in a, bottle of water and treat you like lowlife about it... (some well known poker venues in EU capitals even allow, bring in food...)

-45 min dinner breaks with casino owned restaurant being the only one near are a whole other game...

I got invited to watch a football game at a neighbor's house. It is standard cold about 25°F outside.

He convinced every partygoer that having no heat = a REAL fan experience.

I'm pretty sure this dude never turns the heat on.

I'm impressed by his commitment. He also expects people to bring "something" to the party. I'm assuming to compensate for the obvious couch degradation.

That's cold! Even I would have the heater on. Maybe he secretly never wants guests again? Lol.

My boss is super cheap and never orders soda when we all go out to lunch. He also usually brings his lunch with us out to eat, but that’s not the kicker here.

My coworker offered to take us all out to lunch. My boss not only ordered a soda, but made it a large even though we got free refills. It pissed me off on the inside.

Heroin addict stealing 3 cent needles from us at our office. They were wrong kind. She came back a couple of days later to return them. She said she is making amends. I said that is like step 8 or something. And you are only returning them because they didn't work.

The needles are pennies. I guess theft and stingy can be a tight line like using an old cup for soda refills. I would have given her the needles for free. I had to throw them away.

She was broke. But magically had money to make her dog an ESA so it could stay with her at the rehab facility.

Still didn't think that would generally be allowed. Health codes and such.

Being frugal is intelligent but being like the posts in this thread is absurd.

Had a rich buddy in high school that had everything he wanted and more. He would go behind the discount supermarket in town and "steal" the thrown away expired food.

The amount of food we throw away in this country is criminal. That's a stingy I can kind of get behind, tbh.

They're TV shows... on the same network as Ghost Hunters and Long Island Medium....
