The Prosecutor / Rape Crew mother makes me so ****ing mad. Of course the kids should rot in jail for decades, but she should be there with them.

Also for those who don't know, this town has been mega-corrupt since like the 1950s. Huge mob presence, drugs, gambling, whorehouses, everything.

not knowing specifically which ones you mean, but having read through it all once last night...I believe what they were doing with month old prior to incident tweets was showing the premeditation beginning.

I am only 1 page in and am furious.

Rape is still rape, whether the victim is an innocent woman or a guilty man, whether the crime occurs at a party or in prison. I'm not sure how all of the ones fantasizing about doing damage to the perps are any different from the ones who plotted and executed their plan of doing damage to the victim.

That said, these folks deserve long jail sentences, including the prosecutor and everyone else involved in the coverup, and the football program should be discontinued.

This was story long before Anonymous got involved.

Conduct is terrible, not that uncommon. I knew kids in my high school who would have done something similar if they were sufficiently loaded. I also remember hearing a story about guys a couple of years older than me "running a train" on a passed-out girl.

At least the poll (unless its been highjacked) indicates that it was just a vocal minority. Although I wonder what the split was back in September when local law enforcement was furiously working to make everything go away.

But yea, I clicked a few random pages and am super depressed now. Even a decent percentage of the guilty posters seem to be reaching their conclusions on the basis of sports rivalries.

From what I can gather it appears the crime was premeditated by at least a couple of guys involved. This will matter in a court of law obviously. (Not really trying to argue whether or not it should)

The response of the community is pretty normal and understandable.

Parents of students from this school (current or past) will belligerently defend their reputations as they probably think the rest of the country sees them all as rapists or supporters of rape. They are of course idiots to think that narcissistically, but that's how it goes with idiots. The people with kids at the school who are not involved will probably unfairly be judged by association, and that will make members of the community angry.

What is far more deplorable and shocking is the responses of the people directly involved or very close to it, like the booster Parks.

I know the perpetrators should get most of the hate, but this attorney Hanlin is making me the most mad in this. Not sure why.

I know everybody will think I should man up but it makes me very depressed when I hear about people being abused like this, especially those who seem helpless like females, children, the elderly and animals. I just can't get my head round how people can do stuff like this.
