Buying clothes for a woman is the worst life play ever.

The jacket will make her chest and hips too small / too large. It will be too long or too short. It won't match her shoes and pants, it won't go well with her favorite dress...

Why wouldn't you just take her to the store, tell her "$200 max" and go play at the arcade until she gets back. This is what is going to happen two days after you give it to her, so you may as well get it done right the first time.

If you really know all her sizes, what brands are true to size, what brands aren't true to size, and know her entire wardrobe... well, that's pretty impressive and I'll exit stage-left.

Otherwise, just let her choose her own jacket.
